TikTok is set to close its music-streaming service, TikTok Music, in November.
The move marks the end of its year-long venture into the competitive music streaming market dominated by Spotify and Apple Music.
The service will officially go offline on November 28, the company announced in a post on its website.

In its announcement, the company stated:
“TikTok Music account information and personal data will be automatically deleted following the closure of TikTok Music.”

TikTok Music was initially launched in July 2022 in Indonesia and Brazil, and later expanded to Australia, Mexico, and Singapore.
