The ongoing HS2 project will create more jobs for graduates and apprentices in 2023.
The project is now looking for its 2023 intake, and bosses are giving graduates and apprentices the option to work on the high-speed rail project.
This year’s cohort has 40 open positions, including roles in engineering to help build the stations, tunnels, and viaducts along the route.
A two-year placement will begin in September for positions in the commercial, project management, procurement, and hybrid bill teams.

Early work has begun on later sections of HS2, which will connect Birmingham with Crewe, Manchester, and the East Midlands, the first phase is currently being built between London and Birmingham.
HS2 stated that it has made an annual commitment to investing in young talent by welcoming a new round of graduates and apprentices each autumn.
Almost 30,000 people are now working on HS2, providing opportunities for graduates to work alongside and learn from experienced industry professionals.

HS2 is an employer partner of The Ladder for Greater Birmingham, which launched in 2018 and has created thousands of apprenticeships across Birmingham and Solihull, as well as a partner of our annual Greater Birmingham Apprenticeship Awards.
With this latest round of graduate recruitment, the campaign is assisting HS2.
Karen Davis, head of talent and development at HS2, said: “With all three phases of HS2 now live, we’re increasing the number of places available on our graduate talent programme. As a result, 2023 will mark our biggest annual intake of new graduate talent into our offices and construction sites.
