Tesla will pay for Ukrainian employees for up to three months

Tesla will pay its Ukrainian employees for at least three months if they are conscripted to fight against Russia.
Employees in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa regions were given the details by Elon Musk's company on Monday, March 7.
But whether the benefits are extended to workers in North America is still not clear.

The company will look at the next steps after three months by reassessing the Russia-Ukraine war.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had conscripted the reservists back in February.
Tesla has been helping Ukraine by bringing its Starlink satellite internet service to the country.
The company praised its employees recently for helping its aerospace venture SpaceX, led by CEO Musk, to carry out such an operation.
The energy team made efforts to provide Tesla Powerwalls, a lithium ion battery energy storage system to run Starlink equipment in Ukraine.
About 5000 Tesla owners in Ukraine and other electric vehicle drivers will also have free vehicle charging at some of its Supercharger stations in Poland, Hungary and Slovakia.
Tesla is not the only company analyzing the impacts the war creates on employees.
Recently, other automakers like General Motors and Ford in the US have suspended their businesses in Russia.
Stellantis had also made announcements for supporting and monitoring its 71 Ukrainian employees.
Tesla, Inc. is an Austin based American electric vehicle and clean energy company, aiming to create a sustainable energy ecosystem.
