Role

As the Senior Manager over Warehouse Operations, you will lead all aspects of warehouse operations for the CookUnity facility.   • Develop and execute warehouse layouts, racking strategies, and inventory zoning to maximize space and improve material flow.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or supply chain operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.

About The Role

The Senior Operations Manager will oversee our flagship New Jersey operation, which is the company’s largest by volume and revenue. This is a high‑stakes leadership role responsible for two distinct facilities.

Responsibilities Operations & Growth
  • Lead warehouse operations across inbound, outbound, inventory, and quality control
  • Optimize performance metrics and workflows to support rapid scaling
  • Make data‑driven decisions to identify and solve operational bottlenecks
  • Plan labor needs and manage capacity during peak periods
Leadership & Team Building
  • Recruit, coach, and develop supervisors, leads, and warehouse associates
  • Provide hands‑on floor leadership to build high‑performing teams
  • Schedule and assign employees while maintaining accountability for results
  • Create urgency and followership across all warehouse teams
Systems & Process
  • Master Weee!'s operational systems, SOPs, and key performance metrics
  • Manage inventory accuracy through physical counts and system reconciliation
  • Plan warehouse layouts, equipment maintenance, and operational improvements
  • Leverage WMS and productivity systems to drive performance insights
Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure compliance with warehousing, shipping, and OSHA safety requirements
  • Establish security procedures and safety protocols
  • Maintain flexible shift coverage for continuous operations
Profit & Loss Management
  • Manage operating costs including daily supplies, packaging materials, and equipment repairs
  • Analyze cost variances and implement corrective actions
  • Drive cost‑efficient operations while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or equivalent experience
  • 15+ years warehouse/fulfillment experience in high‑volume or fast paced environments
  • 10+ years in a supervisory or management role
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and cycle counting processes
  • Demonstrated success in reducing labor costs or improving productivity metrics
  • Familiarity with labor planning, scheduling and workforce optimization
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong computer proficiency
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations (OSHA)

Compensation Range
  • The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $117,000 to $138,000
  • This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
  • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
