As the Director, Airport Operations, you will lead and oversee the day-to-day operations at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). You will ensure safe, secure, efficient, and customer-focused operations across the airfield, terminal, landside, Airport Communications Center (ACC), operational readiness and activation (ORAT), air cargo operations, and operational safety programs.

**Description**
The Director of Flight Training leads all flight training operations in support of Flight School Next (FSN) Initial Entry Rotary Wing (IERW) requirements. This role oversees instructor development, standardization, safety, and compliance across academic, simulator, and aircraft training environments. The Director ensures training programs meet government standards, contractual obligations, and aviation regulatory requirements while maintaining the highest levels of safety, instructional quality, and mission readiness.
**What You Will Be Responsible For**
+ Lead and manage all flight training operations supporting FSN IERW requirements.
+ Train and standardize instructor pilots through a structured train‑the‑trainer model across academic, simulator, and aircraft environments.
+ Deliver flight, simulator, and classroom instruction to support instructor development and student training needs.
+ Conduct initial evaluations, stage checks, and instructor proficiency assessments to maintain standardization.
+ Oversee development and updates of SOPs, courseware, flight procedures, and Aircrew Training Manual revisions in coordination with government oversight.
+ Monitor flight safety trends and training area procedures; recommend corrective actions to ensure safe operations.

Qualifications:
**What You Will Need to Be Successful in This Role**
+ Minimum 10 years of helicopter aviation experience, including support of/or running a U.S. Army ATP or government aviation training program.
+ Minimum 2,000 hours total rotorcraft time and 500 hours instructor pilot time.
+ Prior service as a U.S. Army Instructor/Standardization Pilot with experience in aircrew evaluation, regulatory compliance, and aviation safety.
+ Commercial Rotorcraft certificate; CFI/CFII (AGI for ground instruction) or Army equivalent.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a Class II Medical Certificate.
+ Demonstrated experience leading aviation training operations or instructor development programs.
+ Experience conducting evaluations, check rides, or standardization assessments in academic, simulator, and aircraft environments.
+ Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, training standards, and compliance requirements.
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

About The PositionUnder general administrative direction of the Director of Airports, the Airport Director of Finance (CFO) plans, organizes, and directs all financial functions for the Salt Lake City Department of Airports (SLCDA) including budget, accounting, audit and financial reporting, purchasing, payroll, asset control, debt issuance, management of outstanding debt, airline rate analysis and calculation as well as participate in air service development initiatives for the airport. This is an appointed, at-will position without tenure and exempt from the career service system.

Supports collection of delinquent accounts in conjunction with the City Attorney's Office and the contract section.
- Directs the development and implementation of standard operating policies and procedures for proper internal controls to insure accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Directs the activities of Airport audit staff and their audits of Airport tenants, concessionaires, and contractors. Oversees annual audit of the Department of Airports records by an independent C.P.A.
- Directs preparation of payroll.

- Performs related duties as required.
- Graduation from accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, accounting or related field, and seven (7) years' increasingly responsible management experience in finance including a minimum of five (5) years in an executive leadership position in an Airport Finance Department. Experience above minimum may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
- Thorough knowledge of principles of organization and management, public administration, public and governmental accounting practices and controls, municipal bonding, cash flow and budgeting.
- Thorough knowledge of the laws, rules and regulations, and guidelines relating to civil airport finance.
- Ability to analyze financial problems and make appropriate recommendations, conduct cost benefit studies and evaluate alternate fiscal and managerial approaches.
- Ability to prepare and analyze commercial and governmental financial statements.

SAIC is seeking highly experienced **Flight Test Director** to support the NSWC Crane Multi-Service Advanced Capabilities Hypersonic Test Bed (MACH-TB) Test Execution Team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in executing hypersonic flight test missions, overseeing mission planning and execution, and directing multi-disciplinary teams to accomplish high-stakes objectives in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive experience in flight test operations, team leadership, and mission execution within the defense industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Provide leadership and oversight as for hypersonic flight test operations, ensuring preparedness and effective collaboration among Mission Execution Team (MET) members, including stakeholders such as NSWC Crane, combatant commands, DOT&E, and other external agencies.
+ Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex, multi-phase hypersonic test campaigns, including action item management, resource allocation, risk analysis, and contingency planning.
+ Prepare and execute mission-critical documentation, including Checklists, Test Constraints Documents, Launch Decision Briefings, Communications Matrices, and Test Plans, to support mission walk-up activities.
+ Direct cross-functional teams on-site during test execution at various test facilities, ensuring successful completion of planned objectives even under compressed timelines and challenging circumstances.
+ Develop strategies for robust system integration, ensuring distributed assets are synchronized and meet system performance benchmarks.
+ Chair working group sessions, support on console training, and conduct readiness briefings to prepare test personnel.
+ Adjudicate on-site test observations, mitigating risks, and ensuring data collection supports robust system evaluation and operational readiness assessments.
+ Mentor and train junior test engineers, technical personnel, and early-career professionals, fostering knowledge transfer and skill-building through direct guidance and oversight.
**Qualifications**
**Education and Experience:**
+ Bachelors in an Engineering Discipline and nine (9) years of experience or Masters and seven (7) years of experience.
+ **Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Certifications** :
+ Practitioner Level Certification in Test & Evaluation
+ Level II - Test & Evaluation
+ Level I - Systems Engineering
+ Interim Secret clearance required with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
+ **7+ years of experience** in flight test planning, management, and execution within the Department of Defense (DoD).
+ Demonstrated experience as a Mission Test Director or equivalent with a proven record of success in overseeing and directing test missions, including multi-phase campaigns with distributed assets.
+ Expertise in authoring mission-critical documents such as execution checklists, test constraints, and risk mitigation plans.
+ Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and collaboration with key stakeholders, including government organizations, combatant commands, and external agencies.
+ Recognized ability to solve complex problems autonomously while maintaining composure under high-pressure scenarios.
+ Strong understanding of hypersonic systems, missile defense, and related test architectures.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Previous experience with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), particularly as part of the Flight Test Directorate.
+ Knowledge of hypersonic test beds, including MACH-TB systems or equivalent advanced defense platforms.
+ Familiarity with Wallops, Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) and other test sites.
+ Hands-on experience with integrating and evaluating high-risk defense systems, including large-scale multi-stakeholder test campaigns.
