We are looking for a highly motivated, technically savvy Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to help develop and scale one of the world's largest and most complex networks. The TIPM is responsible for managing highly technical, cost efficient, and fast paced fiber construction project schedules to keep pace with and enable AWS Network growth. This role will manage civil infrastructure programs across our rapidly expanding global data center portfolio.
As a TIPM you will be part of a highly creative and efficient team of diverse backgrounds and expertise, tasked with tackling challenging problems in civil infrastructure construction at scale. In this role, you will be responsible for vendor administration and oversight, field quality assurance, adherence tracking, stakeholder communication, and driving process improvements to ensure civil fiber infrastructure meets AWS standards and supports on-time fiber delivery.
Key job responsibilities
Perform quality assurance of civil infrastructure including vault installations, conduit alignment, pathway diversity, and compliance with AWS standards
- Track and report on vendor & GC adherence to construction standards, escalating quality issues to program leadership
- Monitor civil infrastructure projects approaching critical delivery milestones, identifying and resolving issues early to protect delivery dates
- Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure vendor performance, defect rates, and program effectiveness
- Share performance metrics with Pre-construction and Construction teams; participate in monthly vendor performance reviews
- Manage multiple competing cross-functional projects simultaneously across assigned region
- Coordinate with general contractors, construction managers, engineers, technicians, and senior management on a regular basis
- Audit completed construction work, document defects, perform root cause analysis, and track remediation to closure
- Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles
- Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance business needs versus technical constraints
- This position requires 40-65% travel and the ability to work across multiple time zones.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
- Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)

This leader will drive the transformation of OCI's infrastructure delivery model by shifting
engineering and construction activities from the field into manufacturing environments through
modularization, off-site assembly, skidding, and integrated product development. The
organization will partner closely with Design Engineering, Architecture, Supply Chain,
Manufacturing, Construction, and strategic OEMs to develop scalable infrastructure products
that improve deployment velocity, reduce field labor, enhance quality, and increase consistency
across OCI's global fleet.
The Product Engineering organization will own the product strategy and lifecycle for
standardized infrastructure modules, including integrated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and
controls assemblies. This includes defining product requirements, influencing supplier
technology roadmaps, managing OEM partnerships, developing product qualification strategies,
and driving Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles
throughout the engineering lifecycle.
A key responsibility of this organization will be identifying opportunities to convert traditional
stick-built infrastructure into repeatable, modular products that can be manufactured, tested,
transported, and deployed at scale. Areas of focus include integrated cooling systems, power
distribution assemblies, skidded mechanical plants, prefabricated electrical rooms, combined
CDU/fan systems, Heat Absorption Chillers (HAC), piping assemblies, controls packages, and
other standardized infrastructure solutions that improve scalability and deployment efficiency.
Working across the entire infrastructure lifecycle, this leader will ensure modular products align
with OCI's design standards, manufacturing capabilities, construction methodologies, operational
requirements, and long-term technology roadmap. The organization will also partner with OEMs
to influence future product development, ensuring suppliers build products optimized for OCI's
unique scale, performance, and deployment needs.
The ideal candidate combines deep experience in product engineering, modular construction,

Amazon Web Services is looking for an Infrastructure Technical Program Manager to support and deploy one of the world's largest and most complex telecommunication networks. The role is responsible for the execution of a strategic plan to improve the business processes and deployment of hyper-scaled cloud infrastructure, creation of a quality control system for North and South America (NASA), pre/post-inspections for design validation, and piloting stakeholder communication for delivery schedules. This opportunity is within the Global Connectivity Infrastructure Delivery - Fiber Deployment organization, which is responsible for project management, quality and delivery of fiber capacity for the physical network solutions that drive Amazon's internal infrastructure and connect our services to the world.
Key job responsibilities
Reports to the GCID-FD Deployment Manager, and updates regularly with Global Senior management.
· Serve as a key member of the GCID-FD team helping to drive overall Network Infrastructure strategy.
· Vendor management to deploy on time, measure progress, and rate through quality Key performance Indicators.
· Develop a focused quality management program that tracks defects, mitigates risks, standardizes root cause analysis, and implements key performance measures to rate vendor success.
· Create and standardize reporting mechanisms for the GCID-FD group and provide regular progress updates on program deployment to management and stakeholders.
· Periodically report on the overall network development program status across the assigned region.
· Manage and track deployment of approved network plans with internal customers and stakeholders such as technical business developers or construction vendors until the infrastructure is in service.
· Manage multiple competing cross-functional projects/programs simultaneously, some on a global scale.
· Interact with engineers, technicians, vendors and senior management on a daily basis
· Physically audit completed construction work, review fiber test results, and hand-off completed delivery to internal customers
· Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.
· Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
· Coordinate access and approvals to security-regulated sites

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 2+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
