• Conduct all necessary safety checks, including pre/post trip inspections, in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Report safety concerns and required repairs promptly.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company driving protocols, reporting any hazards immediately.
• Perform accurate counting of items and verify customer invoices.
• Complete all required delivery paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Safely drive to customer locations according to a predetermined route.
• Unload products and transport them to designated storage areas at client facilities.
• Conduct damage control checks and communicate any issues to supervisors in line with company policy.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
• Collect payments (cash or checks) as needed.
• Ensure that all equipment is secured and that trailers are locked as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness in the loading dock area and the tractor.
• Complete daily logs of hours of service in compliance with regulations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support the business effectively.

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Valid CDL B license.
• Meets all state licensing and certification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass a road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.
• Capability to hand-lift and utilize equipment to manage product cases weighing 10-90 pounds throughout the shift.
