We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to support and coordinate supply chain activities across our Glass Recycling North America (GR NAM) operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring logistics execution, performance reporting, and stakeholder communication are aligned with Sibelco’s Operating Model.

As a Supply Chain Specialist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Partner with Customer Service Teams (CSTs), site operations, and commercial leaders to ensure seamless logistics execution (rail and truck).
• Prepare and manage regional supply chain reports, analyze trends, and recommend actionable improvements.

Primary Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Engineering Manager – Electronics plans, organizes, and directs a team of engineers to meet plant and company objectives for design, new product development, and improvement of existing product lines. The manager must have the ability to collaborate with Global Engineering, Product Management, Project Managers and other operational departments to ensure the delivered product is production-ready and has the greatest chance of commercial success while expanding Hydro’s brand value. As an Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate in a team environment to design and support industrial electrical systems, which includes various types of equipment new and old. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Engineer solutions to improve equipment reliability, safety, ergonomics, and compliance with ISO 14001, ISO , and other EHS initiatives.
  • Provide technical support to Production, Maintenance, and IT departments, reducing downtime and improving system performance.
  • Develop, design, and update PLC, VFD, and HMI programs using various control automation platforms, including Rockwell, Siemens, and Beijer.
  • Update and maintain National Instruments LabVIEW code for testing applications and equipment.
  • Interface with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, IT, MES, and Production teams to support facility projects.
  • Apply NEC knowledge for planning industrial equipment installations and work with electricians to update documentation.
  • Supply project leaders with capital cost estimates and timelines, and review capital equipment quotations.
  • Lead projects or project steps, solve complex problems, and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. 
  • Manage outside engineering and construction personnel, ensuring all safety, health, environmental, and compliance aspects meet regulations.
  • Integrate equipment into data collection systems and establish network topologies.
  • Support network backup, device patching management, and control system asset inventory.
  • Compile data from connected devices for organizational use and develop standards for control systems hardware and software.
  • Identify and assume additional responsibilities for projects and processes that align with and drive towards Lincoln Electric Company’s 2025 Higher Standard Goals.

  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts and SQL Database.

Primary Responsibilities  

  Position Summary:    

The Engineering Manager – Electronics  plans, organizes, and directs a team of engineers to meet plant and company objectives for design, new product development, and improvement of existing product lines. The manager must have the ability to collaborate with Global Engineering, Product Management, Project Managers and other operational departments to ensure the delivered product is production-ready and has the greatest chance of commercial success while expanding Hydro’s brand value. The Segment Engineering Manager should be very target-focused in and meet the department’s KPI of NPD Revenue, NPD Quality, On-time delivery, and On-BOM cost by performing or facilitating the following duties.  

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Effectively manage assigned projects to deliver on-time, within scope, and within budget.  

  • Consults with customers, vendors, and cross functional departments to prepare design modifications and functional expectations.  

  • Analyze product specification and performance requirements to ensure customer expectations and company profitability expectations can be met.  

  • Develop and oversee product design plans and methods of manufacturing for assigned product lines.  

  • Provide electronic technical direction and planning for internal and external engineers throughout the research, design, development, construction and launch phases of New Product Development.  

  • Plans, coordinates and directs the activities of the engineering team to ensure company targets are achieved   

  • Manage and prioritize product development and sustaining work to achieve defined targets.  

  • Leverage disciplined project management to ensure projects successfully complete defined stage gates.  

  • Analyze costs, prepare budgets, and provide relevant reporting for project and team activities.  

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve product quality, manufacturability, and cost of assigned product lines.   

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third party designers leveraging services when necessary to meet established targets.  

  • Manage, mentor and develop a team of engineers in all aspects of the role.  

  • Oversee development of engineering staff to ensure cross training in core departmental core competencies.  

  • In partnership with the Director of Engineering and Functional Leaders establish team performance criteria and annual objectives.  

  • Facilitate design reviews to ensure optimization of design and resolve technical issues during the design process.  

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation   

  • In partnership with the director of engineering, take necessary steps to document and protect intellectual property.  

  • Provides leadership in the areas of innovation and development of intellectual property while adhering to engineering standards and regulatory requirements.  

    Qualifications/Requirements:  

  • Bachelor of Science in in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar degree.  

  • 7+ years of experience in product engineering and 3+ years in Management.  

  • Previous project management experience is preferred.   

  • Ability to communicate across all departments and at all levels of the organization.   

  • Proven track record managing a team who has taken designs from concept to launch.

  • Previous experience with :  

  • Hardware design with schematic capture, component selection, and PCB layout, Altium experience is desired.

Principal Accountabilities 

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues independently
  • Apply strong problem-solving and programming troubleshooting skills, preferably with Allen-Bradley
  • Ensure reliability of manufacturing processes and compliance with standards

Required Qualifications 

  • Electrical/Maintenance Journeyman License in the state of Michigan
  • 3 years manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Basic programming and advanced troubleshooting skills, preferably with Allen-Bradley
  • High School or GED Equivalent
  • Be able to troubleshoot PLCs and Ladder logic
  • Be willing to be a part of the Hazmat team
  • Strong electrical & mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read & interpret blueprints or other forms of engineering drawings
  • Ability to read & interpret detail blueprints, P&IDs, single-lines, and wiring schematics
  • Ability to work weekend and off shift hours as needed


Preferred Qualifications
