Role Summary
Senior Blockchain Engineer will architect and implement the blockchain foundation of the BioMatrix.ai ecosystem . They will design secure, scalable, and user-friendly blockchain solutions that integrate biometric identity, payments, and data services.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who has deep blockchain expertise , thrives in 0→1 innovation , and is motivated to build real-world applications at global scale. Will work on upcoming projects around Real World Assets (RWA).
Roles & Responsibilities
- Eports to CTO - interim
- Go-to Blockchain expert
- 70% coding/30% cross-functional work providing guidance to Product Managers and Marketing teams on technical feasibility
- Will be involved in new product design with Marketing team
- Meeting with end customers (5 hours/week)
- Will work with team in China (unsure what hours but will allow flexibility for start times)
- Design, build, and maintain blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and distributed systems powering BioMatrix.ai.
- Develop tokenized payment systems and identity verification flows, ensuring high security and usability.
- Implement smart contracts for token utility, payments, and governance.
- Ensure security, scalability, and efficiency of blockchain systems through rigorous testing and best practices.
- Integrate biometric verification (Face Scan) and payment flows (BioPay) into blockchain applications.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to align blockchain development with roadmap and user needs.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices for blockchain development within AC Tech.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in Web3, DeFi, real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, and decentralized identity to guide innovation.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility + equity eligibility**+ benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
Pay Range:
$152,405—$179,300 USD
