We're currently on the lookout for a General Carpenter who loves working with their hands, enjoys the challenge of custom work, and can confidently turn plans into reality.
What You'll Do:
As a General Carpenter at Evolve, you'll be at the heart of the action, cutting, fabricating, and assembling a wide range of structures from wood and other materials. You'll work from detailed plans and collaborate with a talented team to bring incredible ideas to life-from concept to final installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow build plans, blueprints, and renderings to fabricate custom products
- Construct displays, cabinetry, exhibits, and specialty structures
- Translate conceptual ideas into real-world builds
- Operate woodworking tools safely and accurately (e.g. saws, routers, sanders, etc.)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines
- Occasionally travel for on-site installations (may include weekends/holidays)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Proficient in reading measurements to 1/32"
- Comfortable lifting up to 65 lbs and standing for 8+ hours per day
- Able to work on ladders and overhead structures
- Able to work in varying temperatures and around moving equipment
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Experience with power tools and shop equipment
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
- Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm schedule with occasional overtime
