POSITION STANDARDS
*
* Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from an accredited college/university; Registered Dietitian or RDE; Previous clinical experience helpful but not necessary.
* Age of Patients Treated: Independent Care, Out-patients: All Ages, usually adult/geriatric, M&S and Community/Occupational Health - usually adult
* Master's Degree from an accredited program in nutritional sciences (2024 and after)
* Minimum 2 years' related experience preferred.
*
-Current NH Dietitian license. - Current Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
* Eligible applicants with pending license will be considered

POSITION PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

PART TWO:FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Position Objective
*
Evaluates, assesses, and plans nutrition care to meet patient nutritional needs.
*
Performance Expectation
*
* Assesses patient nutritional status using documented medical information and established nutritional standards.
* Counsels patients and/or families by identifying nutrition-related problems. Develops plans of instruction and nutritional care, and monitoring results.
* Identifies inpatients at nutritional risk and documents recommendations.
* Diagnose and develop intervention for patients with malnutrition
* Participates in physicians' rounds, discharge planning rounds, and conferences with nutritional implications.
* Conducts education programs for patients, community groups, and staff.
* Precept and mentor new staff or existing staff in clinical specialty area.
* Develop therapeutic relationships with multiple subspecialty care team members and providers that enables planning and participating across a broader spectrum patient care.
* Cross-covers a broader spectrum of patient care areas and subspecialties as needed.
* Performs other duties as required or assigned.
*We are offering a $000 sign-on/retention bonus for this position. *The bonus is for full time, external hires only, and certain conditions apply.
