Dental Assistant
Highland Endodontics
Madison, MS
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. You’ll support our provider(s) during treatment and help deliver outstanding care to our patients and contribute to the overall efficiency of our practice.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm (You will work 4 out of the 5 days)
Responsibilities
- Provide chair-side clinical support to Drs by assisting, charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-up
- Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointment
- Take and process X-Rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
- Welcome, comfort and educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment care
- Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality and follow workplace regulations
- Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned
Qualifications
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of Dental assisting experience
- Dental Radiology Certification
Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable in a high-level clinical setting
- Completion of a Dental Assisting program or Dental Assisting certification preferred according to State and individual practices

**Responsibilities**
The **Dental Assistant** will support the dentist, and team, in providing quality patient care within the scope of state regulations. You will set-up and breakdown rooms, take and develop x-rays, offer chairside support, take impressions, and provide the patient with post-op instructions and care. The **Dental Assistant** will also assist with presenting and discussing treatment plans, sterilize and maintain instruments, equipment, and general spaces providing a clean and professional environment, among other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
To apply for this position, you must possess an active **DA and** **X-ray certification** , and experienced in oral surgery and taking impressions for prosthetics. You must be able to work in a high volume, fast paced office while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.
