Forklift Operators at Grainger are responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Receiving**
+ Unloads pallets and cases from inbound trailers and/or containers manually using the pallet jack.
+ Accurately counts, verifies, and receives product using radio frequency (RF) equipment and/or Voice Pick Technology; documents variances.
**LUM Picking**
+ Selects products and quantities as directed by Voice Pick Technology and/or RF scanner and places items into totes on conveyor belt.
+ Removes empty cartons from pick module as needed.
**Sortation**
+ Prepares sortation area by setting up pallets and carts for product.
+ Moves cartons and totes from conveyor belts and/or rollers and places on pallets and/or carts according to assigned batch.
**Loading**
+ Uses RF scanner to ensure that totes, pallets, and carts are loaded correctly onto trucks for customer delivery.
+ Uses pallet jack to load pallets.
**General requirements for all functions**
+ Follows general sequencing and process procedures.
+ Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
+ Follows safety policies and procedures and corrects or communicates hazards to management.
+ Places incoming merchandise into inventory.
+ Conducts physical inventories as required.
+ Counts and performs basic math calculations.
+ Maintains productivity and quality standards.
+ Performs additional duties as directed.
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
+ General knowledge of a variety of basic topics (math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc.)
+ Prior experience working in a warehouse/distribution center a plus
+ Warehouse/Operations certification a plus
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES**
+ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form

+ Load paper into a printing press that prints checks, troubleshoot paper jams, ensure customer information is correctly printed ensuring quality control.
+ Operate bindery equipment, where in which checks are fed into the machine in order to glue and staple them into a checkbooks, requiring strong mechanical skills.
+ Oversee the automated wrapping and conveyor system to ensure that the proper inserts are added and that the system accurately wraps the checks into plastic to ensure proper flow.

Howmet Aerospace is currently looking a Wax Machine Operator to join our Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey . The work hours for this position will be Afternoon Shift (Monday to Friday 2:00-10:00PM). Training on Day shift M-F 6:00A - 2:00P.
New Hire Starting Hourly Rate: $22.44; After 12 Months: $4.92

POSITION OVERVIEW
The wax machine operator is responsible for injecting the wax patterns with the wax departments.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Expected to assist in the implementation of EHS Values and policy statements and accompanying principals.
- Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report all job related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook).
- Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
- Attend all EHS training.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Repeatedly injects wax or plastic patterns by operating one or two automatic fixed cycle, power injection machines.
- Prepares pattern for inspection by cleaning core print area and identifying pattern.
- Performs visual inspection for quality of injected pattern.
- Deflash solid patterns at press
INTERPERSONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Wax Machine Operator interactions are internal and include engineering, quality and other members in the wax departments.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/EQUIPMENT USED
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
- Standing up to 8 hours.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
