BLUvera Project Manager SUMMARY Mortenson’s BLUvera Group seeks an experienced Project Manager to build and lead a team, serving as the key contact for internal and external teams. Responsibilities include managing projects from concept to closeout, with knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in the steel stud framing industry. The ideal candidate will lead and mentor their Project Team, driving the organization’s expansion into self-performed manufactured construction assemblies. BLUvera leverages advanced design, engineering, and 3D modeling to deliver prefabricated construction products using DfMA principles. Mortenson's Integrated Services Team is looking for a Project Management Controls Engineer who will be responsible for coordinating, assisting, training and seeking to continuously improve the day-to-day function of our project control processes used by Mortenson project teams. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Investigate and develop enhancement ideas to continuously improve current tools and processes
- Provide support and training for all processes and tools used by the project team via ad hoc consultations, webinars, written documentation and on-demand video education
- Assist with evaluation, prioritization, selection, testing, piloting, and implementation of Lean innovations emerging from project teams
- Monitor and evaluate software utilization to optimize efficiency of the tools.
- Challenge the status quo to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operational systems to achieve operational excellence at the project site
- Recommend new technology and processes that will improve project team performance and efficiency and/or provide a competitive advantage to operations
- Train new initiatives in the implementation and experimentation stages of development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the talents of team members

QUALIFICATIONS

The base pay range for this role is $71,400 - $107,100. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.

**Job Duties:**
This position will provide project management direction from inception to completion of projects. They will be the primary contact in concert with the Administrative Engineer (Professional) for other public agencies, special interest groups and the general public regarding project activities. Other responsibilities include:
+ Maintain effective relationships with local units of government.
+ Provide overall direction and leadership to technical project teams in the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques in the management of project activities for moderate to major scale projects to meet the project requirements.
+ Ensure consistency with MnDOT strategy, commitments and goals.
+ Ensure proper program execution and compliance with MnDOT, state and federal procedures, practices, regulations, and standards.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Licensure as a professional Civil Engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design (AELSLAGID). (If obtaining licensure through Comity, a temporary permit from AELSLAGID must be provided to MnDOT HR prior to starting employment.)
