**The Role**
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be a key member of the Project Management Office (PMO) leadership team and will influence the broader strategic and operational needs within the PMO. This position provides expert Program and Project leadership to plan, manage and deliver all aspects of one or more large, technical and complex Program(s) / Project(s), crossing multiple disciplines. Key success factors for this role are a proven track record and passion for leading and delivering Program(s) and Project(s) on-time, on-budget and to scope specifications. This is a senior PM role in a matirx management environment where strong leadership, training and mentoring of less expereinced PM's is required.
**The Main Responsibilities**
+ Collaborating with directors, and senior leads within the PMO and across groups.
+ Synthesize disparate information into clear recommendations, actions and decisions.
+ Ensure that multiple projects within your program are on schedule, high quality, within budget, and meet the measures of success (MOS) and the high-level achievements (HLA).
+ Identify and analyze all risks associated with each project(s).
+ Oversee and mitigate risks across multiple technical functional lanes to ensure that project(s) meet agreed upon MOS and HLAs.
+ Consult with client/stakeholder partners to ensure overall project/program management satisfaction.
+ Provide enterprise wide leadership in critical project solutions and negotiation.
+ Provide mentoring to team members.
+ Maintain knowledge in several of the following: technical architecture and solution creation, software development lifecycle management in mainframe, midrange and three tier architecture, software testing methodology, production deployment, development, and requirements management.
**What We Look For in a Candidate**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent eduaction and related experience
+ Broad expertise and training in program and project management methods (waterfall & agile), and a strong business accumen
+ 10+ years related experience
**Preferred:**
+ Master's degree with 8+ years related experience
+ PMP Certification, Scrum Master Certification, Advanced Project Management Degree (Master's Cert)
**Compensation**
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$129,639 - $72,852 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
136,121 - 181,494 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
142,603 - 190,137 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

The Role What Youll Do

As a principal, you will be part of a cross-cultural global team working on a variety of business consulting engagements such across Wealth Management, Asset Management, Investment Banking and Trading.

You will take up a range of roles in the areas of process consulting, experience design, business analysis, applied AI, tech strategy, program and change management.   • Machine Learning driven personalization - life events, investment ideas, service alerts and assessment of client attrition risk
  • Virtual Assistant - Cognitive Assistant Pilot (CAP) to guide Financial Advisors and Customer Support Associates in Salesforce.
  • Single Social Media hub for Financial Advisors to post content (compliance approved) to multiple social media sites
  • Comprehensive portal to do a Best Match and find a Financial Advisor (Individual or Teams) by name, nearby location, gender and International Wealth FAs and teams
  • Smart App where a prospective client can start a bank relationship, find a Financial Advisor, provide discovery for goal-based planning, and schedule an appointment.
  • Social App for the Financial Advisor to create their social media profiles, provide complete user flows for Facebook Business Page Enrollment, LinkedIn Business Page Enrollment and Approver Review.

Responsibilities

  • Set product strategy and influence acceptance and adoption of that strategy with the end users experience at the center of their decision making.
  • Manage the product line life cycle from the strategic planning to tactical initiatives for both vended and custom solutions.
  • Managing tracks for functional analysis / SME for specific journeys in Wealth and Trust industry. E.g.: Prospecting, Financial Planning, Portfolio Mgmt., Servicing, Onboarding, Advisor Dashboard
  • Specify the market requirements in relation to the business' product for both existing and future products based on market research realized through interactions with the clients, consumers and prospective users.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business partners including engineering, marketing, design, and sales to allow for the smooth and efficient flow of product activities.
  • Work closely with technical departments to ensure user needs are being met and resolve issues as they emerge and evolve.
  • Self-starter to stay current on wealth management trends and models re-shaping the industry including competitor news, technology developments, regulations etc.
  • Train and nurture junior consultants on project and the wider wealth management practice.
  • Lead / contribute to sales pursuits, consulting offerings and internal initiatives to participate in a variety of Firm building events.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent required
  • Prior work experience of 10+ years either in management consulting or directly working on advisory business, technology or operational change initiatives in Wealth Management and Trust industry
  • Demonstrated ability in defining, mobilizing, and delivering complex change programs in Asset / Wealth Management firms.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with ability to build relationships at senior management and CXO levels.
  • Strong background of leading globally distributed teams comprising both IT and business experts.
  • Good understanding of Wealth Management Technology Ecosystem encompassing product vendors and platforms like FIS, SEI, Broadridge, Salesforce, Envestnet, Linedata etc.

**Job Summary**
The Sr. Manager role at Thermo Fisher is a critical part of the Purification & Pharma Analytics business leadership team. You will lead innovation governance and new product initiatives with various teams and partners, ensuring flawless execution from concept to launch.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead cross-functional, geographically distributed teams to ensure magnificent execution of innovation projects to achieve planned outcomes
+ Influence key partners to achieve results on time and within plan, developing relationships within the company and with external partners to complete program results
+ Work closely with project partners to implement reporting schedules that lead to unified and reliable program information
+ Prepare and maintain project plans and define results, employing the fit-for-purpose methodology for each project
+ Identify and lead potential risks, problems, tasks, and decisions - address important issues and develop strategies to minimize their impact. Document and communicate the status and results of projects
+ Lead the business operating mechanisms for Innovation including roadmap governance and quarterly innovation reviews with Division and Group LT
+ Lead and mentor direct reports as a people leader to ensure capability and career development
**Keys to Success:**
**Education**
+ Bachelor's degree required
+ Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
+ PMP certification strongly preferred
**Experience**
+ 6+ years experience launching new products in a regulated environment preferred
+ Proven track record in people management
+ Prefer experience in Life Sciences tools, Biopharma, or Biotech segments in R&D / PMO / Portfolio management / Product development and launch
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:**
+ Strong project management skills and abilities (using planning tools, defining goals, developing a rationale and baseline)
+ Ability to work independently, within a team, and collaboratively across teams with a track record of following through on commitments by leading with influence and building alignment
+ Consistent record in project management, showcasing adept problem-solving abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a multifaceted setting
+ Strong presentation and written communication skills
+ Collaborative leader, capable of effectively leading and mentoring talent within the organization
+ Ability to assess situations and make/facilitate clear timely decisions, achieving results that support project/program objectives
