Job Title: CompounderJob Description
The Compounder role involves precise measurement and mixing of ingredients, ensuring quality standards, and following procedures to produce high-quality compounds. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to food safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
+ Retrieve and accurately measure ingredients using scales.
+ Mix various ingredients and identify solids for melting using hot plates.
+ Dilute ingredients as necessary and record raw materials usage.
+ Verify weight and contents of raw materials, conduct in-process batch inspections, and document all process events.
+ Process liquid, powders, homogenizing, and spray dry methods of compounding.
+ Follow standard batch instructions to accurately weigh dyes and other substances into equipment.
+ Check for consistency in various batches and measure viscosity.
+ Take samples of batches and submit them to the laboratory for testing.
+ Follow food safety guidelines and accurately document completed work.
+ Wear a uniform and proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
+ Work in a fast-paced environment, able to multi-task, perform under pressure, and remain flexible.
+ Sample and test mixes for various attributes after completion.
+ Follow sanitary guidelines and clean equipment.
+ Pack and label containers according to customer specifications and complete all required documentation.
+ Be willing to work overtime as needed.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ years of experience in liquid flavor compounding.
+ Experience in flavors and fragrance.
+ 1+ years of experience in a GMP environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in small-scale compounding (not required).
+ Go-getter mentality.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 10 pm to 6:30 am, with flexibility to work weekends if needed. Employees are required to wear a uniform and proper PPE, ensuring adherence to sanitary guidelines in a fast-paced environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
