What you'll do here:
As a Seasonal Experienced Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance, explaining, preparing, and completing accurate tax-related forms for clients, including multiyear, multistate, and year-end tax forms. You will also provide clients with IRS audit support. Complete E-filing, provide printed copies of returns for clients to review, sign and e-file these forms to IRS and state agencies.
- Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
- Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
- Answer client calls via our national call center routing system.
- Answer tax related questions and provide future tax planning to clients in a timely fashion.
- Collection and processing of clients' payments while ensuring timely deposits.
- Marketing and business generation efforts.
- Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
- Mentor and support teammates, providing guidance and in some cases acting as a lead.
- This position has access to and regularly works with information of a sensitive, highly confidential nature which requires a working knowledge of the business.

The Manager, Financial Reporting will have oversight of financial reporting, audit support and general ledger management for Non-US ("cross-border) based business and support services including US India (USI), ARDC (Mexico), and Costa Rica (CR). The manager will support the integration of acquisitions or expansion of existing organizations. + Review and approval of funding of all cross-border operations.

+ Accounting and financial reporting for US consulting projects in India or Mexico that qualify for permanent establishment treatment (includes funding requests and approval of financial statements)

Qualifications
Required:

This job is responsible for the accounting functions related to financial and regulatory reporting including preparing financial and regulatory reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP). The incumbent coordinates external audits with outside CPA firms and related projects as assigned by management. Detailed responsibilities include the following: financial statement preparation including footnotes for both annual audits and management reporting, consolidation and other monthly close activities including journal entries, cash flow preparation, board reports, insurance department financial filings, general ledger account reconciliations, fluctuation analysis, etc.
Essential responsibilities include:
- Lead the preparation of and ensure timely and accurate completion of complex, consolidated internal and external financial reporting deliverables (e.g. audited financial statements, insurance department filings, board reports, debt covenant calculations and investor relations reports).
- Prepare and record journal entries, prepare reconciliations and cash flow statements, and complete analytical and departmental reports to ensure compliance with current accounting standards, company policies and procedures, and regulatory guidelines as part of the month-end close process.
- Prepare in-depth analytical reviews of account fluctuations during the monthly close process, identifying and explaining variances.
- Prepare schedules and footnotes to support annual and interim reporting.
- Coordinate annual audits with external audit firms; act as liaison with external audit firm during fieldwork.

We are seeking a bank regulatory reporting analyst with a focus on automation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. This role involves using technology to streamline report preparation, ensuring timely and accurate data submission to a variety of regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate will have regulatory reporting experience with a large financial institution, experience with analyzing large data sets, and has experience with automating regulatory reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate regulatory reporting including but not limited to FR-Y9C, FFIEC-031, FR-Y14Q, FR-Y14M
- Analyzing regulatory reports to ensure understanding of requirements to aid in automation efforts.
- Analyzing large data sets, sourcing new information, working with Source-to-Target (STM) documents.
- Developing business requirements to correct existing logic, or to build out new reporting functionality.
- Collaboration with internal technology teams, to assist with technology development lifecycle.

Qualifications/Skills:

At least three years of experience in regulatory reporting, financial reporting, or report automation within the banking industry or similar field.
Strong understanding of bank regulations and reporting requirements.
Strong knowledge of the components of a bank's balance sheet
Strong data skills, including the ability to write SQL code to analyze large data sets to support the development of business requirements, QA validation, etc.
Experience working with bank regulatory reporting applications (ie. AxiomSL)
Ability to understanding complex reporting applications, to analyze existing configuration to assist in modification/creation of new configuration.
Experience working with Alteryx is a plus.
CPA certification is a plus, but not required.
