UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family. As a Team Partner in theProduction Department, you will be working on a team to prepare orders and floor mats for delivery to our customers. At UniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday and Sunday off! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.
**Pay & Benefits:**

**Compensation** : $15.00 - $9.00 / hr

**What you'll be doing:**
+ Bundle, package, and roll articles in accordance with company requirements
+ Handle flat good orders and select appropriate items
+ Select appropriate items by style, color, etc.
+ Inspect products for tears, holes, stains, excessive moisture, etc.
+ Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
+ Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
**Qualifications**
**What we're looking for:**
+ High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
+ Must be at least 18 years of age or older to operate mat roller and any machinery
+ Must be at least 16 years of age or older to work in the load building area
+ Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift
+ Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
+ Ability to lift up to 15-30 lbs
+ Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight measurement, volume, and distance

Production Line Lead - Afternoon Darrell Lea "Makes it Better"! We have been making chocolate and confectionary for over 90 years. From humble beginnings selling sweets from a pushcart, and later to a small factory under the first arch of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Darrell Lea is sold in Australia, New Zealand, USA, UK, and Canada. We are looking for Line Leaders with 'hands on' experience working in Manufacturing (preferably FMCG) who are able to work across our Afternoon shift to fulfill requirements while troubleshooting fast-paced equipment from depositing to packaging and who are wanting to take the next step within a manufacturing environment and further their career. Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Line Leader will be working online as part of the production team targeting to produce high quality, well-presented & safe products within the Production schedule requirements. To be successful you will be a natural leader who is hands on, an excellent communicator wanting to build the team in line with company values of Safety, quality, and productivity. The duties will include but are not limited to: Working as part of a production team to achieve production efficiency targets. Taking full responsibility for the quality and product that is produced within your shift. Ensuring that all team members can identify issues and take fast effective action to resolve. Working closely with other line leads to ensure production handovers are completed. Ensuring all appropriate production forms and quality checks are conducted and filled out correctly according to established procedures. Ensuring all new team members are trained on the relevant machines and company processes. Having a positive and proactive attitude towards health and safety by promoting a safety culture within the workplace. Promoting safe work practices and communicating all incidents / near misses and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. Communicating any changes in equipment and work processes to your team. The Applicant: Proven experience in a "hands on" role within a Manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Computer skills. Experience with automated machines in a Manufacturing industry desirable but not essential. Ability to work across afternoon/or night shift for up to 6 months at a time. Able to problem solve at pace. Excellent attention to detail. High work ethic and solid work history. You will be a strong team player willing to help others achieve a common goal with a desire to produce great products.
