RESPONSIBILITIES:Receive raw material deliveries, unloading trucks and putting materials in their final locationsOrganization and cleanliness of material yardsAccurately setting up and aligning the saw to produce a safe, productive quality cutsMaintaining proper cutting parameters - direction, tension, and speedOrganize and cut orders in a timely manner according to specificationsIdentifying to supervisor when material levels are getting low to trigger re-orderMinimize the amount of scrap by maintaining optimal accuracy while cuttingFollow established safety procedures for all assignmentsComply with all Company requirements for conduct and work behaviorPerform startups, shut downs, inspection, oiling on critical points, and repairsPerform any other duties, responsibilities or tasks as assignedWorks in other areas as instructedQUALIFICATIONS:5+ years of driving a company Truck and a fork-lift in a Production environment3+ years of material handling experience using fork lift, company trucks, pallette jacks1+ year of experience operating a saw Read blue prints, use tape measurerClean DMV driving record - Class 3Continuous use of hands and fingers, hearing to understand and respond to various equipment, process alarms, radio messages, etcSelf-motivated and capable and willing to work independentlyWillingness to cross-strain on other saws and shop equipmentADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Forklift driver certification (we can certify onsite)Able to lift at least 50+ lbsStand a minimum of 8+ hours per dayMust be willing to work overtime and weekends as neededWET is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with WET is governed on the basis of merit, competence and qualifications and will not be influenced in any manner by race, color, religion, gender, national origin/ethnicity, veteran status, disability status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, mental or physical disability or any other legally protected status.
