The Engineering Rotational Development Program (ERDP) is all about developing the next generation of industry leaders and technical experts. The purpose of Caterpillar's Engineering Rotational Development Program is to draw on your ability and further develop you through rotational assignments and learning opportunities so that you may not only fulfill your career goals but provide excellent service to Caterpillar and its customers. Our Engineering Rotational Development Program enhances the experience of engineering graduates transitioning from student to full-time engineer.
**What You Will Do**
You'll join a team with diverse project responsibilities and have valuable networking opportunities with all levels of Caterpillar employees. This is an entry level engineering position that begins with a 12-18-month long development rotational program focused on building technical abilities in roles including (but not limited to):
+ **Product Design:** Engineer components & systems for Caterpillar products to meet our customers' needs. Deliver solutions by leading collaboration with cross functional teams throughout our value chain starting from the initial concept through production.
+ **Simulation/Performance Analysis:** CFD - Computational Fluid Dynamics (ANSYS), FEA - Finite Element Analysis, 3D modelling, autonomy sensor and photorealistic environment root cause investigation; system/subsystem/component design optimization, structural dynamics, development and optimization of Engine, Aftertreatment, Battery, Fuel Cell, Powertrain, Machine System performance, and/or Autonomy and Multiple Machine Coordination.
+ **Test/Validation/Hands on:** Apply strong mechanical engineering understanding in a test/validation (hands-on) environment, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with others for optimal results.
+ **Controls Development:** Develop/Implement control system algorithms using Matlab/Simulink for various control systems including but not limited to engine controllers, machine implement controllers as well as powertrain controllers. Will be responsible for understanding the feature requirement, implementing it as well as testing it prior to a production roll out.
+ **Electronic Components:** Will be responsible for designing and testing various electronic control modules as well as various electronic components. Will work with various internal Caterpillar clients to understand controller/component requirements, work with suppliers on design and validation of the components, as well as testing the components in various environments. Other duties may include design of Printed Circuit Board schematics as well as perform digital/analog/power circuit analysis and testing, and ensuring that FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) are conducted and documented to meet stringent Caterpillar quality requirements
+ **Embedded Software Development:** Develop embedded software in C, C# and/or C++ for various electronic control modules. Some examples of embedded software development applications include Datalink communications, Inputs and Outputs (Sensors and actuators), speed calculation, Injection/spark timing, memory management, CPU optimization, multi core design and implementation, autonomy algorithms for perception, localization, planning, etc. In addition, some areas of work include developing scripts in Python/Visual Basic for automation.
+ **Software Validation/Verification for Electronic Systems:** Verify functionality of a feature or control system algorithm on a HIL (Hardware in the Loop) simulator bench or a SIL (Software in the loop) system. Understand requirements of the feature and/or the schematics of the controller / control system, verify functionality and debug/report anomalies to the development team and help validate fixes.
+ **Engineering Data Analytics:** Ability to write and understand computer code; Python; analytics/data science experience; exposure to machine learning concepts/tools; engineering and statistics fundamentals.
+ **Process Engineering:** Process Engineering: Apply mechanical, manufacturing, systems and/or industrial engineering knowledge to analyze and optimize an engineering process or processes. Will have the opportunity to leverage problem-solving and communication skills.

Position Summary:
The Director, Business Development will work closely with key leaders across the ADM business in North America to drive actions that shape ADM's future portfolio of businesses across all 3 ADM BUs in the region. This position has focus on business development, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, commercial partnerships and JV alliances relating to the ADM business in North America. It is also both demanding and rewarding with high visibility and exposure.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Business in North America across all BUs and other regional BD teams to develop and review the business cases for capital expenditures for growth and efficiency initiatives across ADM
  • Responsible for building of complex financial models for merger, acquisition, divestiture and joint-venture activities, and own the process for key valuation metrics like business forecast, and synergies
  • Partner with the Global PMO team to support all due diligence activities across all primary functional areas such as Finance, IT, HR, Commercial, Operations, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, etc.
  • Direct development of scoping documents and other presentation materials to communicate the financial business case and strategic rationale to executive management including the CEO, CFO, BU President and the Capital Committee
  • As required, liaise with third party service providers such as consultants, accounting firms, investment banks, law firms
  • Support the end to end M&A life cycle (sourcing, analysis and execution) of M&A/JV/Divestment projects relevant to the ADM business in North America
  • Perform both internal and external strategic analyses to become better informed about current business conditions and conduct landscaping studies relevant for the ADM business in North America. Working with commercial teams, build, track and maintain a robust pipeline of M&A opportunities relevant for the North America business
  • Support senior team in key negotiation sessions and help in setting the negotiation agenda and preparation for negotiations
  • Support the senior business team in the development and/or review of the ADM business strategy and strategic plan across all BUs in North America
Job Requirements:
  • Graduation in Finance with at least 10 - 15 years' post qualification experience in either business development in a corporate role or professional services firm, finance planning and analysis
  • Experience with acquisition and joint venture valuation, contract negotiations, and due diligence
  • Confident, effective communicator with strong executive presence and influence
  • Superior analytical abilities including advanced knowledge of corporate financial and valuation theory. Superlative attention to detail required
  • Ability to identify and address cross-functional issues that may be relevant to completing or implementing acquisitions and alliances
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and experienced in making decisions in intense and complex conditions
  • Experience in the ag, food and feed industry a distinct advantage
  • Superior skills in Excel financial modeling and Power Point presentation
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Demonstrated capacity to perform in a fast-paced, global work environment

This is a salaried exempt position.
**Position Summary:**
The Director, Business Development will work closely with key leaders across the ADM business in North America to drive actions that shape ADM's future portfolio of businesses across all 3 ADM BUs in the region. This position has focus on business development, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, commercial partnerships and JV alliances relating to the ADM business in North America. It is also both demanding and rewarding with high visibility and exposure.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Partner with the Business in North America across all BUs and other regional BD teams to develop and review the business cases for capital expenditures for growth and efficiency initiatives across ADM
+ Responsible for building of complex financial models for merger, acquisition, divestiture and joint-venture activities, and own the process for key valuation metrics like business forecast, and synergies
+ Partner with the Global PMO team to support all due diligence activities across all primary functional areas such as Finance, IT, HR, Commercial, Operations, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, etc.
+ Direct development of scoping documents and other presentation materials to communicate the financial business case and strategic rationale to executive management including the CEO, CFO, BU President and the Capital Committee
+ As required, liaise with third party service providers such as consultants, accounting firms, investment banks, law firms
+ Support the end to end M&A life cycle (sourcing, analysis and execution) of M&A/JV/Divestment projects relevant to the ADM business in North America
+ Perform both internal and external strategic analyses to become better informed about current business conditions and conduct landscaping studies relevant for the ADM business in North America. Working with commercial teams, build, track and maintain a robust pipeline of M&A opportunities relevant for the North America business
+ Support senior team in key negotiation sessions and help in setting the negotiation agenda and preparation for negotiations
+ Support the senior business team in the development and/or review of the ADM business strategy and strategic plan across all BUs in North America
**Job Requirements:**
+ Graduation in Finance with at least 10 - 15 years' post qualification experience in either business development in a corporate role or professional services firm, finance planning and analysis
+ Experience with acquisition and joint venture valuation, contract negotiations, and due diligence
+ Confident, effective communicator with strong executive presence and influence
+ Superior analytical abilities including advanced knowledge of corporate financial and valuation theory. Superlative attention to detail required
+ Ability to identify and address cross-functional issues that may be relevant to completing or implementing acquisitions and alliances
+ Demonstrated commercial acumen and experienced in making decisions in intense and complex conditions
+ Experience in the ag, food and feed industry a distinct advantage
+ Superior skills in Excel financial modeling and Power Point presentation
+ Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
+ Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
+ Demonstrated capacity to perform in a fast-paced, global work environment
+ Must be a team player and committed to collaborative working

We are seeking a **Concurrent Product and Process Development (CPPD) Engineer** to lead engineering release activities for the Large Mining Truck (LMT) product group. This role requires close collaboration with design, manufacturing, and value chain teams to ensure seamless integration of product and process development.

+ Facilitate regular CPPD meetings to review engineering change notices and align cross-functional teams on implementation timelines.
+ Monitor and report on release progress for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and production batches, identifying and mitigating risks.
+ Enhance CPPD quality through standard work procedures, Built-in Quality (BIQ) checklists, and performance metrics.
+ Contribute to CPPD process automation by integrating LMT requirements into new tools and systems.
+ Collaborate with other product groups to standardize CPPD practices and share process improvements.
