Job Description
Position Summary
Ready for a healthcare adventure? Join our night owl squad as a Flex Team LPN! You'll be the superhero of our Communities of Christian Living Communities (CLC), swooping in to save the day (or night) on an as-needed basis. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to provide top-notch clinical services across all our realms - from skilled nursing to assisted living. You'll be the master of all shifts, coordinating care like a pro and tailoring services to fit each resident's unique needs and preferences. It's like being a healthcare detective, always on the lookout for clues to provide the best holistic, person-centered care!
As a valued member of our Flex team, we're counting on you to rock at least 2 shifts per month. Most of these are 12-hour marathons of awesomeness. This PRN position lets you be the captain of your own ship, choosing multiple locations, dates, and shifts. Our Community Staffing Team will be your trusty sidekick, working closely with you to match your preferences with CLC's needs. It's like a perfect dance of flexibility and fulfillment!
Your Exciting Duties (Should You Dare to Accept)
- Be the star of Resident Care conferences and keep those Care Plans in tip-top shape. It's like being the director of a blockbuster movie, but with real-life impact!
- Channel your inner Sherlock Holmes to spot signs and symptoms, then leap into action with your stellar judgment and interventions.
- Become the ultimate communicator, spreading the word about resident status to nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, families, and others. It's like being the host of your own healthcare talk show!
- Guard resident privacy like a top-secret agent. Confidentiality is your middle name!
- Master the art of electronic documentation. Think of it as leveling up in a video game, but with real-world consequences!
- Play the role of medication maestro - prepare, administer, and document like a pro. Keep those meds in check and make sure the expired ones meet their timely demise.
- Be the town crier for resident concerns, incidents, and progress. Spread the news far and wide (only to all relevant parties, of course)!
- Transform into a medical Picasso, painting detailed pictures of assessments, interventions, and follow-ups through your documentation.
- Embrace your inner ringmaster, overseeing and coordinating services during your shift. Be ready to report any hiccups to the Director of Nursing or your friendly neighborhood supervisor.
- Become a lifelong learner, conquering required onboarding trainings and periodic updates like a champion student.
- Be prepared for surprise quests! Other duties may be assigned, keeping you on your toes and ready for anything!
