Allergy Technicians will also perform more specialized duties, including allergy tests, pulmonary function and skin tests, and will speak with patients about symptom management and preparing medications like allergy serums and injections.

• Determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• At least 3-5 years of Emergency Room, strongly preferred.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation

• Current RN license within the state of practice.
