**Job Title: CNC Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking dedicated machine operators to join our team. The role involves operating and maintaining metal cutting machines, ensuring product quality, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate CNC machines including loading and unloading tasks.
+ Adjust machine settings and change tools as needed.
+ Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools.
+ Conduct quality inspections and record measurements into the quality system.
+ Report production data accurately and escalate issues to supervisors.
+ Follow International Automotive Task Force (IATF) quality standards.
+ Work collaboratively in a team to meet daily production targets.
+ Ensure compliance with safety rules and the First In, First Out (FIFO) method.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S standards.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum 6 months of CNC machine experience.
+ Good reading comprehension of work instructions.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Capability to work in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple machines.
+ Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal cutting machines.
+ Ability to read schematics and understanding of the metric system.
+ Proficiency in basic math and measurement devices.
+ Basic computer skills and preferred knowledge of CMM and SAP.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 80 lbs using material handling equipment.
+ Frequent standing, walking, bending, and manual handling tasks.

**Work Environment**
Our facility is clean and climate-controlled, providing a comfortable work environment. Shifts are available from Monday to Friday with options for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Dress code is casual and safety-oriented.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gainesville, Georgia
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
