Material Coordinator / Handler
We are seeking a material coordinator to assist material management in the warehouse, IQC and production. Material includes raw materials (optics, electronics, and mechanical assemblies) and finish goods. Candidates will assist with receiving parts for medical devices.
1. Performs part kits for manufacturing assemblers use in the daily assembly of instruments.
2. Stocking warehouse area with parts received after incoming inspection and maintaining inventory locations in neat and orderly fashion.
3. Performs data entry into the inventory control system including daily incoming and outgoing stock changes.
4. Assist in inventory tracking and physical inventory (cycle counts) as scheduled, reporting discrepancies between physical counts and inventory system.
5. Assist with shipping and receiving of material, domestic and international.
6. Other duties as assigned by management.
7. Should be able to work with appropriate teams to resolve issues such as missing paperwork/count discrepancies, when to use offsite storage appropriately, raise concerns regarding damaged material in stock, shortages on work orders.
Education and Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Be able to use office software and ERP tools (Netsuite experience preferred). *Candidates must indicate level of experience and what ERP systems they have used.
- Experience with receiving goods in warehouse environment.
- Experience in kitting materials, managing incoming and outgoing parts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Highly detail oriented and understands the basics: Quality/Safety/Continuous Improvement

The Material Handler performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, and supporting logistics areas.
