Key Responsibilities
- Assist with projects and initiatives across the development team that support the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors
- Support data entry and reporting and the preparation of gift proposals for the development team
- Assist with development event preparation and execution as needed, including prospect and meeting briefings.
- Support correspondence and sharing materials between development and other campus offices

Development Assistant
The Development Assistant is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of development strategies. In compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act, the hourly base range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00. This range represents the University's good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Stevens Institute of Technology determines compensation based on factors including the position's scope and responsibilities, the candidate's experience, education, skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational considerations. The final salary will be set considering departmental budget, qualifications, and relevant credentials. Job Overview
As a Licensed Personal Lines Producer you will be responsible for leveraging our existing and upcoming technologies to drive new Personal business to develop a book of clients. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Generate new revenue and grow your own book of business through consistent sales efforts; this includes, but is not limited to, soliciting business via telephone, networking, on-site visits, and other lead sources

- Advise clients regarding personal risk and liability; explain complex policies and the technical aspects of various coverage options to help clients make informed decisions that meet and/or exceed their needs
