As a Power Equipment Operator at Walmart Supply Chain, you will be operating power equipment to move product through the Distribution network to the Stores to service our Customers. Your role is critical to providing our customers with the product they expect at an everyday low price.

Duties and Responsibilities
Powered Equipment Operations
- Transports freight, pulls merchandise, replaces freight, fills daily orders, and controls freight flow when operating moving equipment in a safe and correct manner.
- Transports and delivers freight to appropriate areas of the facility in an accurate and timely manner.
- Tells management about unsafe working conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures in the facility.
- Operates moving equipment in a safe and correct manner.
- Maintains a clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
Yard Driver (On Property)
- Drives tractor/trailers in a safe and correct manner by adhering to all regulations (e.g., company, local, state and federal). Transports trailers to appropriate destinations (on the facility property Only) in an accurate and timely manner.
- Tells management about unsafe working conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures.
- Operates tractor/trailer in a safe and correct manner.
- Maintains a clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
You will be responsible for the operation and output of assigned production lines which include but are not limited to:
- Performs duties in a manner that adheres to safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in the training curriculum as an operator learning aspects of plastic extrusion line operations while completing assigned duties required for certification
- Change plastic extruding machine, set up according to production line changes following specifications on work orders, and examine products for nonconformance to specifications
- Responsible for monitoring quality and accuracy of the line and scrap
- Perform housekeeping and preventative maintenance tasks as required to maintain equipment
- Set up plastic extrusion machines (shut-down, start-up, switchovers, order preparation, and production, of plastic extrusion lines).
- Responsible for raw materials (resin) by keeping extruder fed with resin mixture
- Maintain good interaction and teamwork with supervisor and co-workers
- Give assistance to co-workers to expedite changeovers
OUR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
- Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities

- Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism

Under the direction of the Lead and Trainer, the sewer is responsible for attaching or binding two pieces of fabric or leather using an industrial/commercial sewing machine. The sewer operates his/her machine in a production environment and adheres to all established safety guidelines. Sewers are required to work about forty hours a week and are flexible to work overtime as required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Single and Double Needle Sewing
- Sews pre-cut fabric or leather according to sewing diagram.
- Single needle and top stitch sewing as required.
- Sew welt cord or tubing as required by style.
- Reads traveler for correct law label, thread and zipper color.
- Uses zipper machine as required by style.
- Skives the leather with the leather skiver as needed per style.
- Changes needles on the machine to match the type of cover they are using.
- Adjusts their seam allowance according to traveler instructions on the cover material.
- Changes thread and bobbins according to traveler instructions on the cover material.
- Adjusts tension as needed.
- Reports any problems or issues to supervisor.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Laundry Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring various industrial washers and dryers and their ancillaries including air compressors, waste water systems, E-Tech rail systems and chemical injection systems. The Laundry Tech III will be familiar with the safety protocols and basic maintenance requirements (mechanical, plumbing, and electrical) of all washing and drying equipment used in the plant and will familiarize themselves with MSDS safety protocols for all chemicals used in processing. Operations will be optimized to maximize production flow throughout the plant daily.
What You Will Do In This Role
+ Inspect production and support/auxiliary equipment for proper operation.
+ Check main production equipment for functionality and proper operation.
+ Check auxiliary production equipment for functionality and proper operation.
+ Check computer systems for proper operation.
+ Ensure proper separation of linens prior to processing.
+ Process linens in the safest and most proficient manner.
+ Ensure proper flow of linens through the production process.
+ Coordinate linen needs with Orders personnel and Supervisors.
+ Repair or report all equipment issues to the appropriate Supervisor and Maintenance personnel.
+ Maintain a high level of cleanliness in your assigned areas.
+ Coordinate with Supervisors any issues that are slowing production.
What Qualifications You Will Need
+ Minimum 1 year laundry experience or related field.
+ Ability to interpret manufacturer technical manuals.
+ Knowledge of computer systems and application.
+ General knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, steam and pneumatic principals.
