This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As part of a small and passionate team of Business Intelligence professionals, you will be responsible for building and maintaining data models, deploying machine learning models, developing automations and visualizing data for the Global Supply Chain organization. We will support all functions within the Supply Chain Management organization including
Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment, Transportation, Commodity Management, Program Management and more. Our customers range from the CEO to individual contributors across the organization.
This role will propel the reliable operation of the company and strengthen the value of analytics and data science in the Global Supply Chain Organization. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Responsibilities:
- Craft and develop scalable reporting, dashboards and data solutions using SQL, Tableau, and other tools
- Develop automation solutions to integrate disparate systems and automate otherwise manual workload
- Create analytical data models that support standardized metrics
- Collaborate with supply chain leaders and program management to identify and build metrics that enable leaders to lead their teams
- Build strategic reporting solutions for leadership to support Weekly Business Reviews (WBR), and Monthly Business Reviews (MBR)
- Work with partners and domain specialists to generate reporting, application, and integration requirements
- Provide business analysis and technical expertise to internal and external partners
- Maintain day-to-day workflow and communication with a variety of partners across the company
Qualifications:
- 8+ Years of experience working with data and analytics
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
- Strong SQL skills in an analytics context to build sophisticated datasets and models enabling data access to less data-savvy users across the entire enterprise
- Strong experience using python to structure data frames (Pandas, etc.) develop automations, build machine learning models (XGBoost) and create data visualizations (Seaborn, Matplotlib)
- Ability to support, coach and mentor junior level teammates in project execution and career development
- Familiarity using version control to check in production code in a shared repository
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Highly comfortably distilling complex analytical insights and conveying to executive leadership in a professional manner
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Self-starter, strong bias for action
- Ability to work side by side with business users to scope analytics and automation requirements

Job Description:
The CHQ People Analytics team is seeking a data engineer that will be responsible for supporting the design and structure of our companies HR data warehouse. The individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining data pipelines, modeling and integration of disparate data sets, optimizing existing data structures for various use cases and ensuring adherence to data governance standards. The selected candidate will work closely with cross functional internal teams to understand organizational Business Intelligence and analytics data needs and use cases. The individual will be responsible for data warehouse governance practices including data management, data quality, data security, and provisioning access.
Essential Functions:

Manage the development, design, and maintenance of Data Warehouses and transformational tools to enable actionable business insights through dashboards and reports.

Design, build, and manage data pipelines, including data transformation mapping, data flow diagrams, and metadata collection, to ensure data accessibility, accuracy, and security.

Document and maintain data models (Conceptual, Logical, and Physical) and metadata management solutions to facilitate efficient and effective use of data.

Qualifications:

**Basic Qualifications:**

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
