**CTG is seeking to fill a Cosmos DBA opening for our client in Atlanta, GA.** **Location:** Remote **Duration:** 9 months **W2 only No C2C** **Duties:** + Administer and maintain Azure Cosmos DB databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. + Design and implement Cosmos DB architecture solutions to support business needs and scalability. + Monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues, and optimize database health and availability. + Configure and manage security settings, access controls, and compliance standards within Cosmos DB. + Automate administrative tasks and develop scripts for routine operations and performance tuning. + Collaborate with development teams to optimize queries and support application performance. + Maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and best practices. **Skills:** + Strong expertise in **Cosmos DB Architecture** , including multi-model support and partitioning strategies. + Proficient in **Security configuration** , **Monitoring** , **Performance Tuning** , and **Automation** within Cosmos DB environments. + Familiarity with **Query Optimization** techniques and database compliance standards is a plus. + Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and propose effective solutions. **Experience:** + 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator with at least 2 years focused on Cosmos DB. + Hands-on experience managing large-scale, cloud-based databases in production environments. + Proven track record in implementing secure and performant database solutions in Azure. **Education:** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $40/hr to $47/hr. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
