Factory Motor Parts is looking for a Delivery Driver with a Class B or better Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to deliver auto parts to regional customers and or warehouses.

The CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for the timely, safe and accurate delivery of customer's automotive parts to their location using a company provided vehicle without incident.

Position responsibilities also include:

• Driving courteously and safely using defensive driving skills.
• Professional communication with customers at their site. Representing the "face of Factory Motor Parts" to customers.
• Keeping the vehicle clean and in good working order
• Ability to write up customers returns accurately.
• Demonstrate the ability to be "safe" on the road and when in the warehouse. Ability to drive in various road conditions safely.
• Must be able to handle hazardous materials.
• Participate in yearly physical inventories.
• Any other tasks requested by management.
• Must be able to handle hazardous materials
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This position requires:

• Must be 21 or older
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) class B or better
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred
• Clean driving record
• Strong people and verbal skills
• Ability to interact with various levels of management and customers
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
• Ability to read a map or understanding of geographic area

• Deliver WAXIE product from our warehouse throughout the local area.
• Unload orders and stock merchandise at customer sites according to customer specifications.
• Inspect merchandise with customer upon delivery and obtain customer signature; on occasion, collect cash or check payments.
• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip inspections (Daily Vehicle Inspection Records).
• Relay and document information regarding customer-specific time windows for deliveries, vehicle restrictions, and other pertinent information.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) in the state in which you reside.
• HAZMAT endorsement or ability to obtain it if hired.
• Delivery driver experience preferred.
• Clean driving record (MVR).
• Ability to navigate directions and read maps.
• Experience with electric pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Excellent customer service skills.

• Physical Requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required lift up to 50lbs and push/pull 100lbs. Regularly sit in a truck and drive a company vehicle.

  • Driving: Driving on a regular basis on behalf of the company is an essential function of this role. A valid driver's license and safe driving history is required

• Valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Ability to pass drug screenings and DOT physicals regularly.

• Safely operate a company vehicle (van or similar) to deliver packages to designated addresses within the Los Angeles area.
• Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules, utilizing navigation tools effectively.
• Interact professionally and courteously with customers, representing our client's brand positively.
• Obtain signatures and process payments/delivery confirmations as required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and submit all required paperwork or digital entries.
• Manage unexpected delays or issues on routes, communicating effectively with dispatch.
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of the delivery vehicle.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3-5 years).
• Previous experience in delivery driving or a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and a positive attitude.
• Ability to navigate using GPS and understand digital mapping systems.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to meeting delivery deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
