Volt has partnered with a leading manufacturing company in Fremont, CA to help identify an experienced HR Coordinator for immediate hire. This person will assist in employee relations and be the 1st point of contact for employees calling into the HR line. Bilingual Spanish is required.
As and HR Coordinator:
- Employee relations support - assist employees calling into the HR desk
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in a professional and confidential manner.
- Performing various administrative tasks and services to maintain and enhance the organization's human resources functions.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, extending offers, and tracking employment requisitions.
- Work with staffing agencies for recruiting activities for both temp employees and direct hires.
- Communicate with hiring managers for their hiring needs.
- Provide requisition and headcount information for management team.
- Prepare and submit required HR reports and documentation as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Support various HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management, training and communication, and benefit open enrollment.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 1 year of related experience in HR or employee relations
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (NOT REQUIRED)
$28-30/hr

Reporting to the Chief Financial and Operating Officer, the Director of Human Resources is a strategic and compliance-centered leader responsible for stewarding the development, implementation, and oversight of HR systems, policies, and processes. Job Summary
The Senior Human Resources Manager will provide support to various locations across the United States. Ideally, the candidate will be based on the westcoast with convenient access to major flight routes.
The primary objective of this position is to provide high-touch HR support in a very fast moving, complex sector. The role is multi-faceted with a balance of HR Strategy development and tactical execution. The successful candidate assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and acts as the link between HR and the business ensuring effective communication and consistent approach. This role seeks to develop integrated solutions and formulates partnerships to deliver value added HR services that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The role maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business units' financial position, its mid-range plans, its culture and its competition; should be a content expert regarding talents strategies, policies & procedures, program implementation, with knowledge of state and local employment legislation & promotes workplace diversity in all people processes & activities: promotions, building teams, talent management, etc. The business savvy HR candidate will have a proven track record in relationship building, innovation & problem solving. + Leadership and accountability skills are a must. The role leads a team of up to five across multiple regions.
+ Superb communication skills honed in business partnering/advisory roles.

+ Experience of coaching senior leaders and facilitating senior teams.

+ Experience in working in a cross-functional team e.g. change management; leading the functional specific aspects.

+ Strong Business Acumen with basic financial skills; ability to read and understand financial statements & budgets.
+ Demonstrated knowledge and ability to understand and value the perspectives and backgrounds of all parties.
+ Strong understanding of employment Law.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Hospitality Management/Integration, Statistics, or related degree.
+ Master's or legal degree preferred.
+ PHR or SPHR desirable.
+ A solid understanding of all the key HR specialist areas.
+ Three (3) - seven (7) years' experience in a multi-site, multi-state environment.
+ Associate relations experience a must.
+ Previous operations experience a plus.
+ Must be willing to work the necessary hours and schedule to meet business needs.
+ Must be able to travel up to 40%.
