Qualifications
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports customers by answering phone calls, greeting, and assisting them in person.
- Assists customers in the self-registration process.
- Sells karting options including up-selling races & specials.
- Sells memberships, arcade cards, snacks, apparel, parties, etc.
- Takes payment of cash, credit cards, and coupons for specials, etc.
- Schedules and places customers into races, groups, and teams.
- Opens/closes cash registers, reconciles register drawer at shift close, balances transactions.
- Prepares merchandise displays, Re-stocks food and apparel and maintains inventory.
- Sets up Retail parties and small group events and provides attentive customer service.
- Acts as Event Coordinator for Birthday parties and other retail events.
- Develops Daily To-Do lists and accomplishes tasks as time permits.
- Opens and Closes Shifts with attention to preparation and readiness for the following shift.
- Always keeps venue in premier condition - completes all opening and closing duties.
- Adheres to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Must be available on weekends as needed.
- 1+ years of customer service experience in hospitality, entertainment, or retail
- High School diploma or G.E.D from an accredited institution.
- College attendance working towards a degree is preferable with flexible hours available.

Description POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
The Guest Services Representative ("GSR") position must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. This position is responsible for assisting guests, answering phones, checking guests in and out, and collecting payment in accordance with company guidelines and procedures. - Assists and responds to guest requests with diligent follow-through.
- Job functions include empowerment to resolve guest issues through the Make it Right process. The GSR must embrace ESA's service culture and treat all guests and associates with the utmost of respect and kindness.
- Must be able to process reservations, registration, payment, and departures in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
- Handle collection efforts of all in-house balances. The GSR is responsible for maintaining all cash, credit card and city ledger accounts at the property.
- Setup, maintain, and takedown of breakfast display in a timely manner.
- Maintaining an organized and clean work area behind the front desk, in the lobby, and in guest common areas in compliance with company standards.
- Selling the value of ESA to all inquiries (via telephone and in person) and striving to convert them into reservations and occupied rooms in compliance with company standards.
- Collecting relevant guest information in accordance with guidelines, probing for potential sales leads, and identifying sales opportunities.
- Periodic tours of the property to ensure the property is meeting brand standards.
- Assists and provides reasonable accommodation in response to guest requests whenever possible and practical.

OTHER DUTIES

Summary:
Greet and monitor all visitors to Nuvance Health's Danbury Hospital. Provide patient room and phone numbers to callers and visitors using a computerized visitor badging system while adhering to all Nuvance Health policies especially patient confidentiality. Direct patients/visitors to their proper destinations. Process visitors in an efficient, courteous, and friendly manner in order to achieve patient and visitor satisfaction.

- Monitor visiting hours and distribute computerized passes in accordance with Nuvance Health's visitor policy
