**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) assists in the delivery of patient care as established by the licensed therapist to reach treatment goals through a written treatment plan. The LPTA will be responsible for maintaining patient records. The LPTA maintains good communication with physicians, licensed therapists, nurses, allied health professionals, social workers, discharge planners, and hospital personnel. The LPTA participates in continuous quality improvement and strives to excel in customer service. Employee will be responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the neonate, infant child, adolescent, adult and geriatric population.
+ Ability to organize and manage time effectively for maximum productivity and for timely evaluates and reporting.
+ Requires the ability to perform physical therapy skilled patient treatment procedures under the supervision of the physical therapist.
+ Requires considerable walking, stooping, pushing and pulling.
+ Requires body coordination for transferring, positioning and executing exercise routines.
