Designers support three primary store priorities: Customers First, In Stock, and Store Appearance. Designers support Customers First by providing fast, thorough, and friendly service to customers. Designers interact with customers by welcoming them to the store, assessing their kitchen and/or bath project needs, providing showroom tours, setting them up for kitchen and/or bath measures, meeting with them to go over room designs and make purchasing recommendations. Designers support In Stock initiatives by assessing stock levels of samples and brochures and restocking them as necessary. Designers support the Store Appearance priority by ensuring special order displays and showrooms promote a shopping environment that is appealing and safe. By supporting these three priorities, Designers drive sales to support department and store goals.

Position OverviewThe Director of Design leads the design process for remodeled GoTo Foods specialty and restaurant locations. This position oversees the design efforts to ensure the appropriate implementation of our innovative and striking designs that satisfy one individual Brand's design criteria and operational standards.
Responsibilities- Collaborate across multiple stakeholders (Brand marketing, Operations, Development team, Vendors, Franchisees, and Franchisees’ A&E Team) to provide status updates, test fits, and final conceptual layouts that optimize space, functionality, budgets, and Brand identity.
- Coordinate all architectural design activities with designated GoTo Foods third-party Design and Architectural Firms.
- Work collaboratively with other internal Directors in design to establish standards, economies of scale, and best practices for GoTo Foods.
- Support all remodeled Franchise locations through Design Development phases and lead design decisions.
