Position Purpose:
Associates in a Warehouse Support role may perform activities related to scheduling inbound and/or outbound activities in the Distribution Center; ensure inventory accuracy within the processing areas, system and process quality as well as vendor compliance and/or outbound shipment to our stores. They may also perform required administrative and general office/clerical duties in support of a particular functional area within the DC. Some Support roles may be responsible for ensuring the DC has required functioning hardware to allow associates to work efficiently and meet production and customer goals. General Duties:

Prepares loading of company-delivered materials, fabricated pieces from the Fabrication or Coatings shops. Additional responsibilities may also be assigned.
  • Manage the return of damaged or unacceptable materials, products, and equipment.
  • Writes up all bills of lading and appropriately protects shop-fabricated and shop-coatings finished products.
  • Coordinate daily as necessary with Shop Manager, Purchasing, P.M., Tank Manager, Coatings Manager, and Transportation Manager for scheduled delivery dates.
  • Works with outside suppliers/vendors for Will Call items. Making routine pick-up as needed.
  • Competent operator in the use of forklifts, rigging, and other yard equipment.
  • Maintain the FedEx receiving area and notify recipients.
  • Organized and kept in good condition returned job stock back into inventory, extra hardware, bolts, nuts, gaskets, fabricated pieces, and small tools.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard.

The Manager, Supply Chain, supports corporate strategy by driving operational excellence in inventory management and supply planning improvements. Reporting directly to the Director of Procurement Systems and Supplier Management, this role ensures highly accurate inventory within the WS | MM North American branch network. The Planner II will need to analyze the weeks of supply to ensure adequate safety stocks are maintained.
Ensures that MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system is creating demand signals to drive supplier production plans. Helps the Planner III maintain master data settings.
Analyze new items and sunset of items for run-out of materials and ingredients
Run and review the product availability reports and ATP (available to promise) block resolution for finished goods
Conduct analysis to enable decision-making regarding costs to expedite, including review of loss sales
Manage SAP master data maintenance
Communicate and initiate commercialization to Operations team as it relates to materials
May have participation in Program Management team calls to ensure proper order of raw materials
May be involved in innovation planning meeting for product introductions

Required Skills:

+ Strong experience with ERP (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.), WMS, PLM, and analytics tools.
