**Position Specific Description**
The Director, Development is a strategic leadership position requiring extensive experience in large-scale transmission permitting. This role entails overseeing a portfolio of projects within the PJM jurisdiction, with a primary emphasis on transmission routing, siting, and licensing. The ideal candidate will possess commercial acumen and a proven track record managing infrastructure projects. The successful candidate must have experience with financial due diligence, scheduling, budgeting, and successfully managing large transmission or other linear projects to completion. This role will be responsible for overseeing and driving progress on new electric transmission projects within the PJM region, leading projects through planning, routing and siting, permitting, and major project approvals. This position will also be responsible for leading and managing resource allocation, schedules, and technical accuracy, ensuring the project is completed in the most cost-effective, efficient, and competitive manner within the budget and schedule. As Director, the successful candidate will lead the team managing awarded projects within PJM guiding all aspects of the project life cycle, including early issue identification and resolution, financial feasibility and progress analysis, internal and external reporting, and close coordination with engineering/design, legal, marketing/communications, project controls, and other critical components of project development.
**Other responsibilities will include:**
+ Serving as a key party during mid-stage project development with Counties, State and Local Agencies, Local Stakeholder Groups, and internal subject matter experts.

· Build and maintain relationships with landfill operators, utilities, pipeline operators, and regulatory agencies
· Lead negotiations with local distribution pipeline operators and electric utilities for interconnection agreements
· Coordinate with legal teams on contract terms, obligations, and dispute resolution
· Prepare project approval packages and present project updates and recommendations to senior leadership and other senior-level stakeholders
· Collaborate with engineering teams on facility design including gas collection, processing, and interconnection systems
**Position Specific Preferred Qualifications**
· 5+ years of experience in development of RNG projects, or renewable fuels project development
· 10+ years of experience in the energy sector
· Proven experience in deploying and scaling new technologies or executing on $100MM+ energy infrastructure projects
· Knowledge of carbon credit markets and environmental attribute trading

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial BIM Specialist to join our team. This unique role combines expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) , Building Information Modeling (BIM) , Computer-Aided Design (CAD) , and web development. The ideal candidate will serve as a GIS and CAD specialist for a construction project and assist in developing GIS/BIM tools for our SmartInfra Hub product/web application.
Key Responsibilities:
- GIS & CAD Development & Management:
- Develop, maintain, and manage web maps using Mapbox and ArcGIS for our projects.
- Utilize CAD software to create, modify, and integrate designs with GIS/BIM data.
- Submit GIS and CAD files in required formats to meet client and government standards.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of both CAD and GIS deliverables in line with project goals.
- BIM Integration & Tools Development:
- Integrate CAD and GIS data with BIM systems to develop robust solutions for infrastructure and construction projects.
