Summary: As a CDL A Drayage Driver, you will transport overweight containers from ports to designated locations, navigate port procedures confidently, and return the empty containers. Compensation: This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $25.75 to $8.75 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between 83,500 and 106,000 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Pull overweight containers from ports, deliver to designated locations, and return empty containers.
- Navigate port procedures confidently and efficiently.
- Hook and unhook containers to the power unit; assist with loading, unloading, and securing cargo.

Requirements:
- Valid Class A Driver’s License.
- Valid TWIC Card.

- Comfortable with making local deliveries with multiple stops.
- Successful completion of a driving test and all DOT pre-employment requirements.
- Safety-focused with the ability to maintain a legal and accurate logbook.
- Capable of understanding and interpreting bills of lading and picking sheets.
- Previous experience using an ipad or tablet preferred.
This role has the following physical demands:
- Generate 137lbs of vertical push/pull force.
