This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Georgia Local Area Business Leader for our Atlanta, GA office.

The Georgia Local Area Business Leader will drive operational performance and growth while enabling WSP to be the preferred and trusted choice for clients, employees, and partners. They are the local CEO of WSP within the bounds of our Delegation of Authority promoting internal collaboration and teamwork. The Local Area Business Leader will passionately lead their business service delivery location through WSP’s strategy focused on four pillars of success: Clients, Expertise, People & Culture and Operational Excellence. The Local Area Business Leader is the external face of WSP in that local area and may bring District or National Leaders to support growing the business to meet annual tactical and long-term strategic objectives. Of equal significance, the Local Area Business Leader has full accountability for operational performance, mastering internal dynamics of the business to ensure that deployment of resources advances business objectives.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or in a relevant field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • 12+ years of relevant post education experience focusing on a combination of any of the following: Business and Operations Management, Business Development, Project Management,
  • Program Management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to build long-term, meaningful relationships with clients
  • Ability to translate complicated technical information into sales messages.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, and craft approaches to challenging problems.
