Responsibilities:You’ll achieve success by:
- Treating patients in a one on one private treatment room for 50-55 minutes
- Reviewing patients medical history
- Diagnosing patients by observing their movements and listening to their concerns

In this role as a Physical Therapist (PT), you will be responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation. As a Physical Therapist you will also utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. While in this position you will assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified Physical Therapist candidates will need the following:
+ Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred
+ Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred
+ Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy required
+ Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, preferred
+ Current Colorado state licensure as a Physical Therapist required
+ BLS through the American Heart Association required
+ Dry Needling Certification or Education preferred
+ Only required if performing the Dry Needling function: Dry Needling Certification or Education.
Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly
This is a full time acute PT role that works 7:30 am - 6:00 pm. The first week the schedule covers a Wednesday through Saturday shift. The second week the schedule covers Tuesday through Friday. Each team member on the team covers one summer and one winter holiday at Penrose.
