**Job Summary**
The Substation Equipment Operator works on various equipment related projects building high voltage power lines and substations.
This role supports the construction of new Substations as well as modifications, and upgrades of existing Substations.
Responsibilities
+ Work safely while assisting in new/existing construction and various tasks such as demolition, site preparation, excavating, backfilling and landscaping, trenching, pole setting, cable labelling, and other substation related tasks such as construction clean-up.
+ Assist with installing transformer and transformer banks, bus structures and switchgear, lines (underground/overhead), ground grid, control buildings, and other related substation material tasks.
+ Will work with man baskets, skid steers, shovels, compactors, back hoes and other industry equipment.
+ Frequently work around energized high voltage systems requiring skill and care.
+ Maintain company tools in good working order.
+ Understands and complies with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
+ Other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications

+ Obtain and maintain a valid State Class C driver's license.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
+ Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.

Serco is hiring Electrical Engineering Site Inspectors to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency Public Assistance recovery initiatives in Zone 2 across the Midwest. The Electrical Engineering Site Inspector will consist of professional and non-professional personnel to provide support to state, tribal, territorial local governments, and some private non-profits. Serco strives to provide support quickly and efficiently to FEMA's mission by helping those effected by man-made and natural disasters.

In this role, you will:
+ Conduct site inspections on sites with major damage (e.g., destroyed facilities; facilities with extensive damage; facilities with significant damage to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components, etc.) to document disaster-related damage
+ Conduct site inspections to validate infrastructure damage and record detailed damage descriptions during the inspection to include the following additional tasks:
+ Review and analyze professional architectural/engineering reports and designs or as-built plans
+ Thoroughly document analyses in writing

**Qualifications**

+ 1-2 years of experience in site inspections of large commercial infrastructures
+ 1-2 years of experience in site inspections in any of the following eligible types of work:
