As the Business Development Manager for Corporate Accounts, you will play a strategic role in driving data-informed decisions, managing large-scale corporate partnerships, and enabling business growth through advanced analytics and client-centric strategies. Position Summary:
The Business Development Organization is seeking a strategic leader to support Portfolio Optimization for the MPLX enterprise. This role involves coordinating long-term strategy development, conducting industry analyses, and facilitating the enhancement of strategic playbooks . Efforts will focus on MPLX corporate business development with specific emphasis on : US shale basins, crude transmission / crude gathering value chains, Natural gas, NGLs, and LPG value chains, and refined product value chains .
Additionally, the individual will be responsible for managing existing strategic joint interests and identifying new opportunities . The ideal candidate will evaluate growth opportunities, build strong external relationships, and collaborate with senior leaders to align organizational strategies.
This position is responsible for managing, mentoring, and developing team capabilities to drive success in achieving regional goals.
This position is located in Findlay, OH.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Coordinates the long-term (5 years+) strategy development for their assigned region.
+ Leads strategic reviews including industry trends, competitive assessments, and scenario planning.
+ Facilitates the development and enhancement of strategic playbooks.
+ Supports the review and development of large-scale organic growth projects.
+ Participates in front-end financial and strategic fit evaluations of inorganic growth opportunities.
+ Establishes productive and effective relationships with key external companies and contacts.
+ Acts as liaison between Strategy & Business Development and other internal organizations and stakeholders.
+ Collaborates with senior leaders across the organization to align on long-term strategic plans.
+ Enhances the capabilities of their team by setting clear expectations, providing timely feedback, and developing specific learning and development plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field; MBA preferred.
+ Minimum 10 years industry experience, preferably a minimum of 5 years with commercial experience.
