**Job Purpose**
Are you an experienced AI/GenAI engineer who loves shipping real systems? Join Stanford's Enterprise Technology team to design, implement, and support AI solutions across university use cases. In this role, you will influence strategic direction, requirements, and architecture for AI‑driven information systems, incorporating new capabilities (LLMs, RAG, agentic frameworks, MLOps) to improve workflow, efficiency, and decision-making. **Core Duties:**

+ **Application & Agent Development:** Build and maintain LLM-based agents/services that securely call enterprise tools (ServiceNow, Salesforce, Oracle, etc.) using approved APIs and tool-calling frameworks. Create lightweight internal SDKs/utilities where needed.
+ **RAG & Search Enablement:** Configure and optimize RAG workflows (chunking, embeddings, metadata filters) and integrate with existing search/vector infrastructure-escalating architecture changes to designated architects.
+ **MLOps & SDLC Practices:** Follow and improve team standards for CI/CD, testing, prompt/model versioning, and observability. Own feature delivery through dev/test/prod, coordinating with release managers.
+ **Governance, Security & Compliance:** Apply established guardrails (PII redaction, policy checks, access controls). Partner with InfoSec and architects to close gaps; document decisions and risks.
+ **Metrics & Reporting:** Instrument services with KPIs (latency, cost, accuracy/quality) and build lightweight dashboards. Deep BI/reporting not primary.
+ **Documentation & Communication:** Write clear technical docs (APIs, workflows, runbooks), user stories, and acceptance criteria. Support and sometimes lead UAT/test activities.

**Education & Experience:**
Bachelor's degree and eight years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
+ **Agent/Agentic Framework Experience:** Built and shipped at least one production LLM agent or agentic workflow using frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI/AutoGen, Google Agent Builder/Vertex AI Agents (or equivalent). Able to explain tool selection, orchestration logic, and post‑deployment support.
+ **Proven Delivery:** Implemented 3+ AI/ML projects and 2+ GenAI/LLM projects in production, with operational support (monitoring, tuning, incident response). Projects should serve sizable user populations and demonstrate measurable efficiency gains.
+ Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts (LLMs/transformers and classical ML) and experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying AI-driven applications.
+ **Programming Expertise:** Python (primary) plus experience with Node.js/Next.js/React/TypeScript and Java; demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools/frameworks.
+ Experience with cloud AI stacks (e.g., Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI) and vector/search technologies (Pinecone, Elastic/OpenSearch, FAISS, Milvus, etc.).
+ Knowledge of data design/architecture, relational and NoSQL databases, and data modeling.

Quadric has created an innovative general purpose neural processing unit (GPNPU) architecture. Quadric's co-optimized software and hardware is targeted to run neural network (NN) inference workloads in a wide variety of edge and endpoint devices, ranging from battery operated smart-sensor systems to high-performance automotive or autonomous vehicle systems. Unlike other NPUs or neural network accelerators in the industry today that can only accelerate a portion of a machine learning graph, the Quadric GPNPU executes both NN graph code and conventional C++ DSP and control code.
Role:The Corporate Applications Engineer is the key bridge between development engineering and hands-on users in the field. The CAE will (1) lead technical customer support initiatives in collaboration with field application engineers, Business Development, Product, and Engineering teams; and (2) develop supporting applications materials to support the use of Quadric product. This position requires exceptional technical depth, strong coding capabilities, and advanced troubleshooting skills to develop customer demos, benchmarks, and reference implementations using Quadric's SDK. This senior technical role demands expertise in system architecture, algorithm optimization, and the ability to provide technical leadership across global FAE teams. Candidates must demonstrate deep technical mastery of Quadric's product ecosystem including HPC Hardware (IP, Chips, Boards), SDK, and various algorithms (NN, DSP, Vision, Path Planning, etc.).
Responsibilities:- Develop reference implementations, demos, and benchmarks using Quadric's SDK to showcase product capabilities and performance
- Provide technical leadership and support to field application engineers worldwide
- Design and implement optimization strategies for customer applications on Quadric's platform
- Work with Business Development to articulate technical value propositions to potential customers
- Analyze complex customer technical requirements and architect optimal solutions leveraging Quadric's technology
- Create detailed technical documentation, application notes, and implementation guides
- Develop and deliver advanced technical training for customers and internal teams
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to influence product roadmap based on customer needs
- Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and develop solutions in collaboration with Engineering

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master's in computer science and/or Electronics Engineering field.
- Minimum 3+ years experience working with customers/business development supporting SDKs.
- Must be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of software perception systems, and/or Computer Vision.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience describing, building, running and deploying Docker containers.
- Experience with Linux or Unix based operating systems.
- Experience with at least one of the following neural network / machine learning frameworks: PyTorch, Tensorflow, Tensorflow-Lite.
- Experience quantizing, running and debugging neural networks with PyTorch/ONNX runtime a plus.

As a Chief Architect, you will set the technical vision and architecture for a portfolio of enterprise AI applications. You will partner with applied scientists and senior engineers to design and deliver scalable, reliable, and secure AI systems that integrate large language models, intelligent agents, and orchestration frameworks into enterprise-grade products. In this role, you will guide experimentation and prototyping efforts to translate emerging AI capabilities into practical solutions, ensure operational excellence across large-scale deployments, and influence technical direction across multiple teams. **Responsibilities**
**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor's in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12+ years of experience building large-scale enterprise applications, with at least 5 years in AI/ML systems.
- Proven ability to design, build, and deliver distributed, cloud-scale platforms, combining strong coding skills with deep system architecture expertise.
- Hands-on experience in AI application development, including generative models, retrieval systems, and agentic frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to set technical vision, influence across multiple teams, and build consensus with senior leadership and executives.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field.
- Experience designing developer platforms or productivity systems and reimagining them in the GenAI era.
- Background in full-stack development and modern cloud-native architectures.
- Demonstrated contributions to the engineering community (e.g., open source, public talks, or widely used frameworks).

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $161,700 to $338,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
