Amazon is seeking a designer to work on visual and product design for the About Amazon website, which serves news and information about the company to external audiences. This role is on the Amazon News team, which sits within Amazon's Communications & Corporate Responsibility org.
This person will work on the Amazon News design team, and will be responsible for creating visual designs for news and feature stories on the About Amazon site. This will include everything from straightforward graphics to more complicated motion designs that tell a more in-depth story. Outside of visuals for stories, they will also create assets and designs for use across various web products, including the About Amazon website homepage and special projects pages as well as the Amazon News email newsletter.
In addition to visual design, this person should have strong knowledge of web design and mobile UX best practices, as well as an understanding of motion graphics and animated GIF creation. They should also have experience working with design tools like Figma and Content Management Systems.
The ideal candidate is a strong project manager and creative designer who has experience working with editorial content in a newsroom-type of setting and understands how to use data to strategically drive designs. This person is an excellent communicator, and will collaborate with partners across other teams, such as editorial, production, distribution, and tech, as well as external vendors.
We want someone who embraces innovation and experimentation, and delivers results with executional excellence. This person must be comfortable working in a fast-paced newsroom-like setting and be willing to roll up their sleeves to get projects done.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- 3+ years experience designing interactive storytelling, products, and tools
- A portfolio of work that shows 3+ years understanding user-centered design principles and showcases your process along with finished design work.
- Figma experience or similar prototyping tools.
- A proven track record of collaborating with stakeholders, outside vendors, and various participants on digital design projects that continuously evolve.
- Experience working with data and analytics to make strategic design decisions; basic understanding of SEO.

Pinnacle Delivery Service LLC, is the TOP PERFORMING Amazon Delivery Service Provider in Kent, WA. This position is based out of DWA6 in Kent, WA.
We proudly serve the Mercer Island, Beacon Hill, Central District, and Eastgate (Bellevue) areas.
How are we different from other DSPs?
1. We operate a "Shared Success" business model. 40% of Scorecard Bonuses earned are paid to our team members based on their individual performance.
2. We recognize that our delivery drivers are our biggest asset and treat each as a professional with trust and respect. That said, we do not tolerate underperforming individuals who affect the overall team performance.
3. We pay our drivers above the minimum rate required by Amazon for our station.

As a Driver Associate for Pinnacle Delivery Service LLC, we have four simple rules:
1. Show up on time and be ready to work.
2. Provide quality delivery experience.

4. Go home safe and sound.
Pay starts at $23.25/hr. However, most of our drivers earn $4- 27+ with weekly bonuses! After a successful 90-day review focused on Pace, Attendance, Quality, and Safety. Base pay may increase to 23.50/hr.
*Performance Bonus:
New candidate must complete an average of 3 routes per week for 16 consecutive weeks after completion of training to qualify for signing bonus.
