+ May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
+ May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
+ May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
+ Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
+ Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.
+ Able to stand for several hours.
+ Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly.

Responsibilities

The strongest candidates for this position will have a record of, or clear potential for scholarship in AWB science that includes extramural grants, studies, and program development. The successful candidate's primary area of focus might involve any number of AWB scientific fields, including animal behavior and welfare science, cognitive neuroscience, and human-animal interaction, amongst others. However, a focus on companion animals will be preferred. Members of standing faculty in the Tenure Track (TT) are primarily devoted to research in their field of expertise. TT Faculty annually spend no more than 5-15% of their time on clinical patient care, when applicable, teaching, and/or service. It is imperative that the candidate's primary and driving career interests and goals include scholarly accomplishment in the field, procurement of funding to support their research, and that they fully understand the duties and expectations specific to the TT track.
