About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and self-driven Senior Application Engineer with deep expertise in Enterprise IT tools management, incident lifecycle automation, and observability solutions. This role will focus on optimizing incident creation pipelines and integrating key tools such as Cribl, Netcool, SolarWinds, AppDynamics and Splunk. Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain automated incident creation pipelines, ensuring intelligent alerting and ticketing across enterprise systems.

• Architect, deploy, and manage IT monitoring and observability platforms including:

• Cribl (Log pipeline routing, enrichment, and reduction)

• IBM Netcool/AIOps (OMNIbus, Impact, event correlation and enrichment)

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

Your primary focus will be ensuring the stability, availability, and supportability of the Firm's Enterprise application stack. You will work closely with the Enterprise Applications Manager, Accounting, Marketing, Records, and other firm personnel to ensure all applications run optimally and without interruption. The Hudson Clean Heat Applications Engineer will be responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects utilizing the latest in water source heat pump technology and any other non-carbon based heating and cooling technology. This role requires applied engineering experience in MEP disciplines and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective project delivery. The engineer will support the Sales Team in design development, construction documentation, and the Project Management team in the project execution, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications while meeting the project timelines and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Engineering Development
   • Prepare detailed design layouts, calculations, and specifications for heat pump, electrical, and plumbing systems.

What You'll Do

On this team, you will:

• You'll unravel and tackle application security challenges at an exhilarating scale.
• You'll collaborate with exceptional engineers developing cutting-edge applications and platforms

• Conducting architecture reviews, security assessments, and code reviews to proactively identify and fix vulnerabilities in our applications
• Developing robust, repeatable frameworks for application security that make it easy for teams to build securely from day one
• Collaborating closely with development teams to integrate security seamlessly into their CI/CD pipelines
• Crafting clear, practical security guidance and documentation that empowers developers
• Actively participating in architectural discussions and providing insightful security recommendations
• Occasionally, 'drawing the owl' - figuring out innovative solutions while navigating ambiguous situations

• At least 3 years of experience directly focused on securing the software lifecycle
• Strong skills in application architecture, secure coding reviews, and threat modeling
• Solid experience developing secure applications or security tooling in Go, Python, or similar modern languages
• Proven experience collaborating with developers to implement secure coding practices.
• Excellent ability to negotiate and reach consensus with developers and fellow security practitioners, as well as excellent documentation skills
• Familiarity with modern development environments, containers, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes security, especially as it relates to being a YAML engineer
• Familiarity with SAST/DAST and other automated application security testing tools
• Deep understanding of cloud-native security challenges and solutions

• Manage user groups and permissions

• Monitor system performance, logs etc.

• Prepare HMDA (Home Mortgage Disclosure Act) update files and batch to Encompass
• Manage reporting database and data warehouse
• Business rule writing for new issues that arise per the Market and the business model
