We?re seeking a Production Line Manager to lead pick-and-pack fulfillment operations at our Dallas distribution facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient daily line operations supporting our USCS Texas and Louisiana accounts. This is a non-automated environment, so we?re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced, team-oriented settings and has a strong sense of urgency, organization, and leadership.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Supervise daily operations on the pick/pack line, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of outbound orders
+ Lead and coach a team of warehouse associates (including seasonal staff), fostering accountability and performance
+ Monitor productivity, quality, and order flow to ensure key performance metrics are met
+ Troubleshoot and resolve line-level issues in real-time, escalating system or inventory issues as needed
+ Communicate and coordinate with other departments (receiving, inventory, logistics, location staff, client services)
+ Ensure team adherence to safety and cleanliness standards at all times
+ Assist with shift planning, headcount forecasting, and schedule adjustments
+ Train new hires and support cross-training efforts to build line flexibility
+ Support implementation and use of warehouse systems (e.g., inventory software, ERP)
**Qualifications**
+ 3+ years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or e-commerce distribution
+ Prior leadership experience managing warehouse associates in a pick-and-pack or line-based environment
+ Strong familiarity with systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar WMS/ERP platforms such as VendEngine, Cactus, or other kiosk-based commissary systems is a plus.
+ Ability to lead in a manual (non-automated) fulfillment setting
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills
+ Ability to adapt and problem-solve in high-volume, deadline-driven environments
+ Must be comfortable working on-site full time at our Dallas location

+ Experience in e-commerce, retail distribution, kitting, or healthcare supply chains

**About the Role:**
The Construction Technician-Line Worker is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining poles, cables and conduits; installing aerial and buried cables with associated hardware as required to build jobs; the running of fiber optic, copper and other necessary cable in the telecommunications space, both aerial and in underground infrastructure, such as manholes; maintaining the safety of the crew by providing direction regarding procedures, road safety, manhole safety, attending safety meetings as requested; maintaining material inventory, DOT vehicle inspection; operate heavy machinery; and other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, splicing copper and fiber cable and any tasks associated with splicing cable. The job will include work on weekends, holidays, standby and unscheduled hours, and overtime. Travel is required and may be over 50% of the year depending on the business needs. This is a safety sensitive position.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Install, repair, and maintain poles.
+ Install aerial cables (fiber and copper); set-up service for customers, installing, connecting, testing, or adjusting equipment as requested.
+ Measure signal strength at utility poles, using electronic test equipment.
+ Inspect or test lines or cables, recording and analyzing test results, to assess transmission characteristics and locate faults or malfunctions.
+ Access specific areas to string lines or install terminal boxes, auxiliary equipment, or appliances, using bucket trucks, or by climbing poles or ladders, or entering tunnels, trenches, or crawl spaces.
+ String cables between structures and lines from poles, towers, or trenches and pull lines to proper tension using jacks, hoist, and other equipment as necessary.
+ Pull up cable by hand from large reels mounted on trucks.
+ Lay underground cable directly in trenches or string it through conduits running through trenches/manholes as requested and required.
+ Pull cable through ducts by hand or with winches.
+ Ability to use a variety of construction equipment to complete installations, such as digger derricks, bucket trucks, back hoes, trenchers, or cable plows.
+ Dig trenches for underground wires or cables.
+ Understand staking sheets and blueprints.
+ Perform work in accordance with industry standards. Be familiar with RUS standards, read and follow design engineers' instructions and specifications, maintain the scope of work on the project and adhere to safety procedures.
+ Prepare engineering field notes. Interpret buried underground and aerial telecom facilities in records, on maps and in the field with clarity and detail and make recommendations for changes in running line or construction methodologies.
+ Participate in engineering, permit and construction processes as required.
+ Perform routine maintenance. Recognize and repair route issues including but not limited to, and hole cleanup, sign placement, and weed control as required.
+ Fill and tamp holes, using cement, earth, and tamping devices.
+ Splice copper and fiber cables and tasks associated with splicing.
+ Other work as assigned.
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ 5 or more years of experience
+ OSHA 10 Hour Safety Course and Buck Squeeze (Pole Climbing Certifications)
+ Proficient at operating various Construction Equipment
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Pole climbing certification.
+ Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds.
+ Ability to work in all weather conditions, year-round.
+ Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Someone who understands the production line and is willing to learn. This individual must have a keen attention to detail and be consistent with the ability to maintain productive speed. Punctuality is key to our output.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following-other duties may be assigned.
  • Disassembles window and door units in preparation for production
  • Must be able to lift and stage multiple units on production carts.
  • Labels each piece of unit with specific ID numbers and colors.
  • Pushes each cart to next production cell.
  • Cleaning and masking window and door frames and other parts in preparation for painting.
  • Checks the surface of the unit and determines if silicone is present. Removes silicone using a razor blade, sanding pad, or other tools.
  • Uses air hose to blow off particles
  • Reports defects to floor lead.
  • Removes masking paper and tape from painted window and door after quality approved.
  • Cleans paint and glue from glass and inserts bulb seal if present.
  • Inserts screen into frame if present and inserts weep hole covers if required.
  • Assembles window and door with all parts removed during disassemble.
  • Packages units based on customer requirements.
  • Scans and adheres label on window if required.
  • Stages on carts for shipping per customer
  • Applies Banding/strapping as required.

Perform other related duties as assigned. Follow all safety guidelines and maintains clean workspace. Maintains productive pace set by Floor Lead and/or Manager and follows managers' direction.
