Private Banking Advisor
The Private Banking Advisor will serve as primary relationship advisor for high net worth and ultra-high net worth, multi-generational clients. Responsible for developing and deepening client relationships through needs-based, high-level client service and through delivery of the full suite of Comerica Wealth solutions. Accomplished and proven at acquiring new clients by leveraging their external network and firm place in the community to provide confident, comprehensive wealth management advice and solutions with an emphasis on Custom Credit, and strategic asset allocation recommendations, multi-generational estate and tax planning, cash flow analysis and budgeting, and risk management to ultra-high net worth clients. Uses advanced credit knowledge to help lead the conversation and advice delivery model with clients and prospects.
Position Responsibilities:
- Meet revenue growth, profitability and client retention goals by acquiring new clients through business development and expanding services and marketing new products to existing clients.
- Expected to be the expert level "market moving" advisor with ability to handle the most challenging, sensitive and complex relationships.
- Team and peer group role model for other Wealth Advisors, Private Bankers, and Wealth Associates.
- Maintain appropriate legal, operating and regulatory controls to manage risk and compliance.
- Works within the existing audit, compliance and regulatory framework to ensure a high quality, compliant portfolio of relationships.
- Self-acquires new business by being active and well connected in the community.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or Finance
- 7 years of experience sales and client management experience in Wealth Management and a demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of high net and ultra-high net worth clients with complex credit and banking needs
- 7 years developing and executing sales and marketing plans

- State Insurance License
- CFP or CTFA, CFA, CPA, JD, or MBA
