As part of EY's Health consulting practice, you will work with these clients across the country in solving complex problems in today's rapidly changing healthcare environment? We currently are seeking a highly motivated Manager, with a focus on provider operations, to manage client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services and manage business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts.
**Your key responsibilities**
You'll spend most of your time teaming with our provider team working with a broad spectrum of not-for-profit and for-profit healthcare clients, including hospitals, healthcare systems, physician practices and academic medical centers, to assess and redesign clinical processes.
As a Manager in our Health consulting group focused on Provider Operations, you'll work with clients across the following areas:

**To qualify for the role you must have**
+ A bachelor's degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience; or a master's degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience
+ Approximately 4 years of healthcare consulting experience, preferably with prior experience as a manager (or above), in a consulting firm or in a management role within industry
+ Ability to read and interpret hospital financial statements and contract terms, utilize complex financial models, experience with operational process mapping and experience with healthcare cost reduction planning and implementation
+ Experience with healthcare organization M&A, physician alignment, or financial margin improvement initiatives
+ Experience in selling and delivering projects that cover the full life cycle of assessment, design and implementation support
+ Assist in generating revenue within existing healthcare clients and in developing new prospects at the "C" level of large healthcare companies
+ Ability to manage a team of staff/senior consulting professionals
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment (knows when to lead and when to follow)
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills
+ A willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is required as neede by the client.

+ Directs, plans, organizes, and manages the daily activities of the medial staff office and is responsible for preparation, organization, and follow-up involved in maintaining hospital accreditation with The Joint Commission as it relates to Medical Staff Services.
+ Responsible for establishing and maintaining continuity in the planning, development, and implementation of standards applicable to the medical staff that relate to credentialing, privileging, bylaws, and rules and regulations.
+ Also functions as a physician relations representative for the hospital, including physician orientation, Doctor's Day planning, and physician communication.
+ May set up and train physicians on the Physician Portal.
+ Publishes and maintains the ER call schedules, roster, and physician call payments.
+ Collects medical staff fees.
+ Coordinates and provides support for medical staff committee meetings and maintains the minutes.
+ Manages the FPPE and OPPE process.
+ May manage local CME committee and programs.
+ Acts as a liaison with departments and physicians in the recruitment of new physicians to improve service to our patients.
**Required Education and Experience:**
+ High School degree/graduate -
+ 5 years Medical Staff OR
+ 3 years Medical Staff and 2 years Credentialing/CVO AND 2 year's management experience
+ Bachelor's degree (related)
+ 4 years Medical Staff OR
+ 2 years Medical Staff and 2 year Credentialing/CVO AND 2 year's management experience.
**Certification:**
+ Required - Active CPMSM certification (Certified Professional Medical Staff Management) with the National Association Medical Staff Services within 24 months of hire

**National Medical Director for Surgical Services**
Location: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development. Responsible for serving as a **National Medical Director** of the general surgery solution, leading the strategic implementation of improving the health of the people we serve, influencing product strategy and design and medical management approaches that impact health care quality, cost, and outcomes, and improving access to and usefulness of health improvement tools offered to Elevance members and external clients.
**How you will make an impact:**
+ Monitors competitor products and internal medical management capabilities and responds with recommendations for improvement in company models.
+ Contributes to development of Medical Management and Quality Management strategies. Responsible for consistent adoption and implementation of all medical policies.
+ Provides clinical leadership for Utilization Management, Case Management, Disease Management, and Quality Management of National Accounts in cooperation with Regional Health Care Management (HCM) team and Chief Medical Officer.
+ Provides clinical expertise in sales planning and participates in the acquisition and retention of National Accounts.
+ Collaborates with HCM leaders to refine and improve provider and medical management services to meet the needs of National Accounts.
+ Assures the clinical relevance of account reporting regarding use of medical services by National Accounts members.
+ Communicates medical management trends and recommends company medical management responses to National Accounts.
+ Contributes to efforts to establish effective physician and hospital quality and cost profiling and education.
+ Contributes to improved provider relationships and national associations and societies (i.e., AMA, Coalition of Specialty Societies).
+ Represents company at nationally recognized speaking engagements to promote health programs.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Requires MD or DO and minimum of 12 years of healthcare experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
+ Requires current unrestricted medical licensure in applicable state(s).
+ Board certification required if applicable to the duties being performed.
+ Requires experience with population or segment health management and the education and coaching of members on wellness, prevention, and healthy lifestyles.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Board certification in general surgery or a surgical subspecialty is **strongly preferred.**
+ Knowledge of leading competitive product offerings in the healthcare industry and marketplace standards and managed care knowledge strongly preferred.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $273,084 to $448,638.
Locations: Illinois, DC, and Nevada.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Physician shall provide clinical direction, oversight, and physician leadership to all Ob/Gyn practices in West Florida.
+ In collaboration with AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) leadership, addresses clinical, behavior or operational concerns with providers raised by other providers, patients or staff
+ Works with AHMG leadership regarding short and long term planning of physician and APP staffing
+ Establish and implement standard clinical protocols, policies and procedures, in accordance with ACOG guidelines, for the delivery of patient care. Ensure protocols are consistently practiced across the group. Educate and correct practices that deviate.
+ Focus on the effective delivery of patient care services offered by the Practice and the Practice's compliance with the standards of applicable accrediting bodies and regulatory agencies having jurisdiction over one or more aspects of the Practice
+ Reasonably participate with AHMG Leadership in its investigation of patient complaints and/or claims related to the stated practices
+ Advise AHMG leadership relating to the purchase of clinical supplies, materials, and equipment necessary to practice according to the established clinical protocols
+ Serves as a mentor to new physicians added to AHMG Ob/Gyn practices.
+ Cooperate and participate with Employer in order to establish a "consumer-centric" environment and assist Employer in the management and resolution of complaints from patients and Medical Staff;
+ Make or direct the making of such reports and records as may be required by regulatory bodies, whether public or private, and by Employer;
+ Assist in the design and development of patient information, medical record, and consent forms for use within the Practice
+ Provide recommendations for in-service training of practice staff to support clinical outcomes.
+ Advise on the provision of inpatient services for hospitals with Women's Services and establish quality standards.
+ Partner with business development to provide input on growth strategies for OBGYN service lines.
