The **Custom Power Products** product line is delivering industry leading power system solutions including Battery Chargers, PMICs, Camera Flash LED drivers etc. This is a great opportunity to be part of the best custom power semiconductor team in the world.
**In this role, responsibilities may include:**
+ Drive system level and transistor level design of high performance switching regulators, translating system requirements to chip and block level architecture and specifications
+ Perform detailed analysis of switching regulator efficiency, electro-migration, thermal management.
+ Debug complex use case conditions to isolate root cause
+ Lead an Analog IC design team with product ownership and responsibility from definition to release to manufacturing
+ Make assignments for team members, providing design guidance as needed, developing schedules and monitoring progress throughout the project
+ Work with and provide guidance to physical designers and monitors the progress of IC layout
+ Evaluate system-level use-cases and re-create these in simulation
+ Interface and lead discussions with the customer to understand customer designs, problems and support as required
+ Collaborate with validation, product engineering and test engineering teams to enable successful transfer to production

**Minimum requirements:**
+ Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
+ Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
+ Extensive background in Power IC design
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Extensive experience in switching DCDC regulators design e.g. multi-phase buck, boost and buck-boost converters. Deep understanding of different control architectures.
+ Deep understanding of power stage design and layout including gate drivers, fault systems and power FETs.
+ Experience working with layout team on block and top level floor-planning
+ Knowledge of device physics and process technologies tradeoffs that are applicable to Power IC design
+ Expertise in tools e.g. Spectre, Simplis, Matlab and AMS
+ Strong verbal and written communication skill
+ Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
+ Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
+ Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
+ Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
+ Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role

The Process Owner, Commercial & Regulated Products - Custom Formulations is responsible for providing support to production escalations in respect to Safety, Quality, Productivity, Materials, and all other relevant aspects of manufacturing.
This position reports to the Value Stream Leader, Commercial & Regulated Products and is part of the Commercial & Regulated Products Value Stream l ocated in Coralville, IA and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Provide support to production escalations in respect to Safety, Quality, Productivity, Materials, and all other relevant aspects of manufacturing; Take ownership of problem solving and follow up on production issues. Troubleshoot and correct problems that may arise throughout the process.
+ Monitoring/trending/analyzing of KPI's and make recommendations to manager regarding efficiency improvements and performance standards (Plan-Do-Check-Act)
+ Assist in Quality Assurance tasks by driving to root cause, writing MOCs and SOPs, and development of processes for new products.
+ Lead cross functional Projects (define, plan, execute and follow-up/sustain) in the assigned value stream related to growth and efficiency. Act as SME and feasibility expert for projects as you will have the helicopter view of internal manufacturing activities.
+ Take ownership of the implementation of improvements of all types by hands on implementation in the lab or by working with Specialists, Lab Technicians, and other Value streams.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent by relevant experience of at least 5+ years.
+ Experience in application of lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual/Daily Management, Problem Solving.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ The ability to effectively review analytical reporting, interpret complex data and formulate conclusions.
+ The ability to develop and sustain productive work relationships with support groups and internal stakeholders.
