Small but growing marine service company looking for a motivated individual with an existing background and knowledge of both motor and sail boats, as well as general marine systems. This individual will ideally have a minimum of 5 years of existing field experience, who is willing/wants to further their career in this exciting industry. I have a contract to assemble new boats for local brokers and the boats are stacking up. Projects will consist of but are not limited to assembling rigging, commissioning, and servicing all systems onboard sailboats and powerboats. This person will have the opportunity to help us service new accounts involving powerboats, making previous powerboat experience preferable for new applicants. Tasks will also include servicing clients with racing yachts and warranty work for major boating brands. About us: Kingdom Marine offers a variety of marine services, specializing in sailboats and expanding to powerboats. We work with local brokers to commission new boats, as well as maintaining their charter fleets during the sailing season. We also work with racing yachts providing any type of race/shore support- from getting things ready pre-race to helping address any breaks or issues after the race is over. POSITION SUMMARY
Marine Technicians at OneWater Marine are responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and installations on a variety of watercrafts in an accurate and timely manner. As a marine technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all boats and marine equipment are in excellent working condition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties (Most Important to Least Important)
Perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and upgrades on a variety of boats in a timely, competent, and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with other departments, such as parts & service, to ensure all customer concerns are prioritized and addressed in an appropriate manner.
Accurately document all service work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and other important details. Ensure customers are provided with appropriate documentation regarding services performed on their boat.
Ensure all boats are being handled with care before, during, and after service has been performed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ensure all safety protocols are being followed when performing work to promote a safe working environment.
Attend applicable service schools to maintain certification and continuous educational requirements. Stay updated on trends, tools and technologies related to work.
Assist with special work events as needed, i.e., boat shows.
All other duties as assigned.

We are seeking new team members for our Marine Technician in Lake Hopatcong. Your role will work in conjunction with our existing Marine Technicians and Service Department, as well as the entire marine effort to ensure boaters have a safe and enjoyable time on the water.
In your role you will work properly repair and maintain boats for our service guests and our fleet of boats. The candidates for this role will have two years experience as technician capable of independently performing basic diagnostic and mechanical repairs. While this position will require the desire to learn marine and marina engine repair skills; this candidate will have good control and ability for mechanical diagnostic and repair.
You will need a strong emphasis and energy in care, quality and satisfaction in work well done. The work is indoors and outdoors in seasonal weather around the marina and on the water. An interest in things mechanical and boating is important.

- Skilled mechanical ability to utilize tools to remove and replace parts and perform mid-level maintenance and repairs as directed and with level of independence.
- Diagnosing and changing mechanical parts, carbureted and fuel injected systems, 12v electrical systems, ignition systems, and drive train.
- Basic maintenance including oil changes, fluids exchanges, etc.
- Refurbishing projects on fiberglass and aluminum boats.
- Moving, hauling, launching, blocking, trailering of boats.
- Leading and supervising subordinate team members in service operations from time to time.
- Cleaning awareness and precaution to keep boats clean and maintained.
- Ability to strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
