Specific Duties/Responsibilities The Business Planning Manager is expected to manage a portfolio of concurrent projects, playing leadership and/or support roles that could include: Project managing and leading business reviews and/or the development of business plans, for a diverse range of San Francisco Ballet’s operational areas. Evaluating relevant business proposals and/or supporting negotiation terms of complex business relationships for new business areas, create budgets and forecasting models, that support decisions for relevant business proposals. Analyze spend and ROI to optimize new business development plans. Serving as liaison for San Francisco Ballet’s relevant business relationship with public sector, private sector, non-profit and/or academic organizations. Providing business strategy and execution guidance on the implementation to managers of various San Francisco Ballet operations, Leading the development of San Francisco Ballet’s metrics, dashboard, and organization/department-level business and implementation plans. Within this general framework, the specific duties of this role are relatively dynamic, and change over time with the operational priorities and business needs of the organization. Qualifications Minimum Position Requirements Education and Experience A post-graduate degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or equivalent (e.g., MBA, MPA). Minimum eight years’ experience working in a corporate or institutional environment at an intermediate or senior level, with increasing responsibility for complex business strategy and/or business planning-related work. Significant experience working directly with senior management, boards of directors, or other governance bodies. Experience working in an environment that balances Non-profit business objectives is considered an asset for this position, as is knowledge of/experience with workings of the arts and culture sector. Job SummaryThe Manager's primary responsibilities are the development of financial plans and the reporting of actual results (versus plan). Job Summary: This position is responsible for development, maintenance, and execution of I-CARs demand forecasting models. An ideal candidate possesses a strong combination of statistical knowledge and experience in sales forecasting, and data analytics. This individual will act as the primary liaison for the Operations Team to strengthen the Sales and Operations planning functions of the organization. The Business Planning Analyst will complete all work under the direction of the Manager, Business Operations.
This position will be primarily remote but will entail occasional travel to our headquarters in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Travel will average approximately 15% annually.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Collaborate with Sales Team members to develop accurate and timely demand forecasts that support the I-CAR Sales and Operations Planning process.
- Monitor new product launch requirements and align to demand planning processes.
- Communicate product demand related risks and opportunities to management and leadership teams.
- Identify demand forecast risks and develop effective and flexible mitigation strategies.
- Work cross-functionally to accurately reflect recent trends and achieve continuous improvement in demand forecast accuracy, and other demand planning measures.
- Manage and execute various ad-hoc project requests.
Skills and Aptitudes:
- Conduct extensive analysis for company demand planning.
- Detail-oriented individual who will take initiative to recommend process improvements.
- Deadline focused individual who will complete assignments accurately in the required timeframe.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of demand planning and logistical controls are required.
- Experience with data mining and working with large data sets.

Overview:
The PCA Group of Companies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Planning Analyst to join our BEAUTYSPACE team in Manhattan. This role plays a key part in supporting commercial planning initiatives and driving performance across sales, inventory, and financial targets. The Business Planning Analyst will contribute to strategic decision-making by delivering insightful weekly trade analyses, assisting in sales and inventory forecasting, monitoring key inventory flows, and managing chargebacks and other operational cost processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a collaborative, analytical approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Stock Management
- Generate and distribute accurate weekly inventory reports to support planning and decision-making
- Analyze inventory performance to identify opportunities and flag risks in alignment with KPIs and sales trends
- Coordinate the issuance and tracking of Return to Vendor (RTV) transactions, working cross-functionally with Operations, Warehouse, and Finance to ensure timely processing and reconciliation
- Monitor vendor compliance with shipping standards, documenting and reporting on out-of-stocks, late shipments, shortages, and order cancellations
- Assist in forecasting gross sales, receipts, and inventory at the customer, channel, and brand levels
- Support the management and execution of the Open-to-Buy (OTB) process to ensure inventory aligns with business goals
- Collaborate with the Finance team to reconcile retailer and brand operational charges
- Manage monthly chargeback processes related to customer returns, damages, and promotional testers
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Proficient in advanced Excel functions, with hands-on experience in data manipulation and reporting template creation
- Prior experience in retail planning, buying, inventory, or merchandising

The PCA Group of Companies is currently seeking a dynamic Business Planning Analyst to round out our BEAUTYSPACE Team in Manhattan.
The purpose of this position is to support the Business Planning Analyst in commercial planning, developing and driving accountability towards sales, receipt, and stock targets that optimize sales while reducing costs and risks. Key responsibilities include weekly trade analysis, assistance in forecasting, tracking of key inventory movements, and processing of charges related to operational agreements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
STOCK MANAGEMENT
- Produce and distribute weekly inventory reporting, ensuring data accuracy.
- Identify opportunities and highlight risks in inventory in accordance to KPI targets and trade trends.
- Coordinate issuance and tracking of RTVs, collaborating with operations, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure RTVs are processed and reconciled in a timely manner.
- Compliance Management Monitor and drive accountability towards vendor shipping standards, documenting out-of-stock, and late, short, and cancelled order rates.
TRADING:
- Assist with gross sales, receipt, and inventory forecasting at customer, channel, and brand levels.
- Support management of OTB process.
COST MANAGEMENT:
- Partner with finance to reconcile retailer and brand operational charges.
- Administer monthly chargebacks for customer returns, damages, and testers.
This position is Hybrid (Monday-Thursday in office), Friday work-from-home.
